Yep its dust and grime with glue marks. Will clean them. Was very lazy over the weekend. Will clean it over the week.

Cheers,
The seat covers are made of PU leather. Got them stitched to match the dashboard combo (dark grey and light grey).

Cost Rs. 4,300/- (seat covers + Steering cover) Inclusive of all taxes. From Sachin's Auto in Kormanagala

Yep the headlamps are upgraded. Details are

1) Low beam - H7 Philips 80W with the relay and wiring
2) High beam - the first owner had 100W H1 bulbs with wiring. I have put back the 55W H1 (hella) back.

Planning to install Hella 700FF auxillary lights. Need inputs on this please. Cost for the Hella 700 FF lights is 4500 bucks. Additional wiring and clamp stuff costs separate. Do let me know the best possible way to install this.

I have a query here.

What are the advantages of replacing the stock air filter with the K&N stock replacement filter

What are the benefits if replaced with performance filter

The K&N stock replacement filter lets more air in, the sensor senses this and the ECU sends more fuel to the engine - hence more power, particularly useful at low to med revvs.

I presume that by 'performance filter' you are referring to a CAI (Cold Air Intake). These allow even more air in than the stock replacement filters. The air intake for the Palios is placed in such a way that they take in cold air so the difference in temprature of the intake will not be much.

There is a lot of debate about the 'filtering' ability of the stock replacement and CAI, a lot of people have reservations about the reduced filtering ability of these and are worried about them letting in dust etc. which could absolutely kill the engine.

Cheers,

Cheers,
Sorry to keep bugging you. Another question

With the K&N stock replacement filter, since the air intake will be more and ECU sends more fuel, how would it impact the mileage . Also what is the percentage of increase in power or mileage?

Thanks mate!.

It has got a Pioneer Headunit (CD player with MP3 and WMA compatibility) with Pioneer speakers. For the time being the sound quality is pretty good. Lack of Vitamin M has stopped me from changing the head unit to the new ones with the USB and aux port.

I feel the third gear has better driveability than the third. Has somebody else also felt the same?

I have no clue as to whether the PU Leather is same as the Artificial Leather.

Experts your views please.

By the way after putting the leather seat covers, something is rattling from the seat belt. Not sure how to solve this. Sometimes it is irritating
