Team-BHP - Glistening Grey Ritz Vdi ; taken delivery yesterday!

For the past month, I would have read half the posts on this forum trying to decide what hatch I should get and had got thoroughly confused. I already have a NHC Vtec+ and was looking for a small car for my daily office commute of 40 KM. Was confused on whether I should go for a petrol or diesel given my usage and though the math may say I should have gone petrol, my dad and I decided to try out a diesel car...we had never had one.

The choice points were the i20, Ritz and Punto and we after much deliberation decided on the Ritz VDI last Saturday and booked one at Khivraj Motors in Chennai. Delivery was promised on Wednesday and I went and took delivery yesterday. Cost was 6.05L OTR in Chennai including accessories.

Had the dealer add on sun film, seat covers, remote lock, stereo and speakers and reverse sensors. Everything other than the sun film was done and they guy asked me to bring the car in later to get the sun film installed as it had been a rainy gloomy day and he said that its better to go the installation on a nice sunny day. Dont know how true that is but i agreed and took delivery minus the 3M CR 70 and CR 50 films that i had ordered and paid for.

Delivery process was smooth though it took 90 mins since there were a lot of deliveries yesterday as it was an auspicious day.

First impressions of the car was that it is noisy (compared to the City) but overall am happy with the handling, manouverability, interior space and visibility. Have driven 30 KM so far and am happy with the car.
