Hi!

Congrats on the purchase! Any specific reason you want to move from the stock to Primary LC?
I understand the Michelins are top notch, but are the Bridgestones disappointing enough to warrant the switch?
How much are you getting as buy back for the stocks? Isn't that depreciating while you wait for the Michelins(I am assuming you are driving around!) ?

Congrats again!

Hi EssYouWe

Thanks.Whenever I buy the a new car i immediately swap to michelin tyres. My experience with michelin has been very good. Also initially the cost is less but after driving 20-25 k kms one has to spend a large amount so imo it's better to swap when the car is new.I'll be paying around Rs.3400-3500/- per tyre and will go in for 225 size. The tyre dealer is known to me so till the tyres arrive i'll be driving with the stock tyres.

@braveheart: Cool pics there. Incidentally, I had been to the dealers stockyard to inspect the vehicle assigned for us. The car has been shod with Good Year GT3 !

Congratulations for Innova.
Good move opting for Michellin tyres they definetly give better handling and stability

Why does the 8 seater, center seat not come with an armrest like in the fortuner... Thats my only gripe against the innova so far... as I somehow dont fathom the seven seater one for myfamily...

I am planning to buy a Xylo. I have driven Innova and both cars are in different leagues.

Would like to read a detailed review and driving experience of Xylo - someone who has driven it on the higways out of Delhi for at least 3-5k KMs.

Regds.

Hi,
I purchased a 8 seater VX in the same Silver Metallic color in Hyderabad on the 21st September.

While I am a Michelin fan the high cost of primacy LC tires with the comments reg grip (average though with great ride comfort) made me go in for Yokohama C.Drive 225/60R15 tires. So far so good..the tires are very silent and comfy. No clue about the grip as haven't pushed them hard but seem OK for day to day driving. The tread pattern is, IMHO, very good looking compared to the Michelins.

Are you planning any interior mods?

I'm quite turned off by the Fortuner's waiting period and was thinking of getting an Innova GX and modding the interiors. Although the two captain seats in the middle row are good, they are short on thigh support.
I have seen the kit that DC provides for 4.5 lakhs, it's brilliant but a little too much for my needs. I'd just like to replace the two captain seats with bigger ones that recline with a foot rest.
Any suggestions for interior modders besides DC that can give high quality fittment.

Wow, good to see that Toyota is providing a player that plays MP3 & WMA also.
A very welcome change in the OEM music setup.

Congrats on your purchase Also, does the Innova come with steering mounted audio controls? If it does, are you able to control the albums in your ipod with the same or the ICE controls?
