Hey congrats man. The car looks beautiful from front angle. And nice color.
Why Bombay passing? I mean Bombay number plate?

Dear BHPians, me the friend of Quttro A4, was accompaning him thru the drive from Mumbai to Aurangabad in Freelander 2, and boy, what a outstanding experience it was, LR F2 is an beutifull machine not only at it looks but the way she feels on the road is awesome. we purposefully opted for Malshez Ghats route to A, bad, and we were surprised to see the handling, the ride, the dynamics, the comfort at its best. especialy the body roll and sprinting ability in the Ghat sections, considering the @ 2.5 tonner, was something to be experienced. the engine is good with satisfing power at your tap, (most of the time weàre at Malshez in an RS).
the transmission is out of the world, now after driven almost all of the automatics, DSG even, we wouldnt have expected anything better, but dear all, its flawless and the best at any given time. We the all time MANUAL lovers, were cleanly bowled over this Automatic, the power delivery is seamless, and very progressive with Pun very much intended,
as the option with manual override is there to satisfy the hard manual nuts like us , there simply is any reason to cry for.
the interiors is beutifull, spacious and as comparable in its class, the feel is 7 star, its the best SUV money can buy......
more to come with offroad and other drives going onnnnnn,....
till then ,
Land Rover Freelander 2

The texture you see are perforations needed for the heated seats and the seats are leather. This is what he told me! Makes sense..

in a short way, just let your heart do the thinking and your fingers do the typing in writting a detailed info!

buckle up and safe driving!

I'll probably do that on his behalf, but not too soon! And one of his friends booked another silver Freelander SE after seeing his.

Too much glass area for the sun to heat it up and its tinted or it comes with some kind of contraption to kill light during daytime?

Pure droomaal! The freelander is here to kill the montero and maybe even capture some of the X5 market.
Heartiest congratulations quattro.
How about a short review?

its tinted and it has a shutter. not one that totally blocks out the light but the perforated type that is found on windows of cars like a6, s class etc.

It does have a good stance. And definitely the LR genes in it. Guess it makes more sense to buy the LR Fr2 than the Montero now.

The Sun roof have no much use in india on the day time. Freelander II looks great.I hope they introduce LR Defender in India both LWB and SWB.
