Re: My First Car in America: 2002 Buick LeSabre Limited This has been pending for some time now. But I had considerable loss when Delta lost my two bags while I was returning to India. And my camera peripherals were just one among them.
I had sold the car in October 2010 after owning it for 13 months and driving some 14000 odd miles. I got back 80% of what I had paid to buy it. And the most interesting part is that the new owner is also an Indian.
In my ownership, I had only spent on oil changes and once on wheel alignment out of my own obsession. And the car took me with an aplomb to my American long drives (and everywhere else). I miss the car...
For anyone interested, here's the link to two long drives that I did with the car

I kissing her good bye... P.S.: It was such a hassle free ownership experience when I compare this to my ownership experience of Fiat Adventure in India. Don't get me wrong - there are enough things to love when it comes to Adventure, but the ownership experience is surely not one of them... |
