Not sure if the k's (3k and 4k) you have done are good for a brand new car during running in
I have also done 3k during the run in within just 250kms on the odo. Just couldnt resist on the highway :(

Fiesta Petrol Heads- what is the appropriate RPM range to run in the ride?
Couldnt resist the temptation to floor the pedal with an 1.6. Have tried to maintain below 3K most of the time though

Read in the forum somewhere about italian running in technique, wanted to try that but could not accomplish it. As per the technique the RPM would be redlined and should be maintained for 30 secs so that the engine achieves the maximum power output or whatever, Went to Mahabs this saturday and tried to cross 4K but unfortunately i was unable to cross 4.5K as there was too much of traffic and i do not want to take a risk.

1750 on Odo now.

Seat Covers - Art Leather

Guys - Need your help to decide on the seat covers. Today i went to Haute Car Zone in OMR road to check out the seat covers, they had the covers for all cars except for Fiesta and the sales guy informed that he can customer stitch it and provide it to me in 2 days. He was speaking about using Haiton PU leather for these covers and he showed me a catalogue to choose the color. I have not heard this name so was skeptical and told him that i would go to GP road to check and once i am not satisfied there would come to him.

He quoted a price of Rs9000 for just seat covers in PU leather (Art Leather) made by Haiton. This is a fare price or its too much.

He had Autoform seatcovers as well but he was quoting 8.5K and he did not have stock for fiesta.

Please help if Haiton is a good brand on Art leather and is this price ok to pay?

PS: I have gone through the thread about seat covers and most of them are suggesting AnnaNagar or GP road. I am in Velachery and anything nearer to my place would be of help. If not i would not have any other choide than to go to GP road or to Haute.

JackSpeed - Art Leather Seat Covers

Mods: Can the title be updated with the recent development?

First i would like to thank Aravind(@aravinrd) for recommending Choice Seat Zone to purchase my Art leather Seat Covers.

Went to Choiice seat zone by about 2Pm today purchased a complete Beige seat cover for Rs4650. He mentioned that he can arrange for a professional stitcher to come to my home to stitch these seats and make it like OEM fitting, agreed to it and the charge would be Rs400. So total bill for seat cover was Rs5150.

The seat cover bag shows the brand name as "Radius" and it also shows that "its a quality product from Jackspeed" . Purchased the seat covers and it is with me now. Tomorrow morning 10AM is the appointment for the stitcher to come to my home to fix it. Hoping that the job would be done in a fair manner.

Overall Experience: Met the guy named Prakash and he seems to have good knowledge about the seat covers and taste buds to match the color combination (though i had selected a single tone, he had recommended to go in for single tone so that the OEM look would be maintained). A very good experience today

Another guy named Mahesh came and he showed me the different varieties available with him and this was the guy referred by Aravind in his PM.

Both of them are aware of TeamBHP and they were happy that their shop name was discussed in the forum. Asked for some discount and he told me that "usualy we give a air freshener, we would give the same" i asked him to replace it with a steering wheel cover. He agreed and gave me a black Jackspeed Art leather steering cover

Bought Jackspeed Neck rests as well, costed Rs 350. He mentioned that the seat covers carry 1 year replacement warranty (who cares once it is fitted in my beauty) nodded my head and paid him the money and walked from his shop with a big smile

Guys - Please provide your valuable feedback about the company "Radius" and also about the seat cover.

Here are the PICS:

Thanks Buddy, Hope everything is going fine in Phil and did you meet Bijesh over there?

After so many days and after seeing the dirt accumulation in the stock seats decided to go in for the art leather. After the lease period will switch over to Stanley or some good leather seats.

Here are the updated pics of the seat covers installed in the car.

Installation in progress

This shop is near New College, below the royapettah Bridge. Earlier they used to call this shop as "Gaylook" and for some reason the name got changed it seems. I was refered to this shop by a fellow BHPian Aravind. They came to my place to fix it, i just visited their shop and purchased the seat cover and the installer came to my house to fix it today morning at 7:30

The seatcover looks almost the one comes from FORD (Ford accessory)?

What is the next - how about fixing chrome plate in the inside door handle(where you have the fabric). I have ordered one from Ford STore. It costs shade above rs 1000 for four handles?

@Moonraker
Congratulations on the new seat covers. They look beautiful. In fact, so does your steering wheel cover. What brand is it? I have fitted a genuine leather cover on my steering wheel but it is not a good fit in the top half. The installer says the Fiesta steering wheel is thicker towards the top. So the thread cannot pull the cover edges together here. Any suggestions how this can be corrected?
