I will collect the car around noon and will post some pictures today itself.

Further I am preparing a new Thread for Fiesta owners only - answer to
certain questions raised by many, through this forum. I am giving some basic things/write up and I hope experience members like you, kumar7, shajufx can contribute about upgradation on ICE, Tyres, seatcover etc
Wow that would be a amazing thread, I am looking forward to it, to have what should be charged by dealer, what should be free, bargins, required accessories and their cost, and bla bla too much information at one single place.

Thanks in advance!!!

Just back home with my beauty well dressed up. First I will take some photographs and post it in my thread.

New thread, already more than a page I have typed out and kept it in other format.
I will now sit and retype whole thing here as I think cutting/pasting is not allowed here?

It's allowed. Just preview the post and remove any weird tags and fonts before you hit submit.

Guys - I got the first servicing of the car done on wednesday and went for a long drive to a remote place to take some time away from work. The ride was good on NH4 but I was not happy with the way the fiesta responded on rough roads.
The moment i was back on good roads the noises etc stopped and felt good. Attached is a picture of the beasta in the countryside.

By the way Fuel Economy was 14 km/L on highways/countryside with 100% AC

The Fiesta looks yummy. Where is this remote place? I just realized that the SXi is missing the 'eyeliner' on the headlights. It's there in my S.

The 'eyeliner' what you referring is not missing but that is the chrome which is added in SXI & ZXI variant. The black 'eyeliner' is present only in EXI & S variant.

I had gone to a place called amba ghat and nearby which falls on the kolhapur - ratnagiri highway. There was a lot of dew early in the morning, I just could not take my eyes of the beauty drenched in dew drops early in the morning. a snap shot.

14 kmpl highways/countryside on 100% AC seems good. Say about 70% highway and
30% countryside?

yes the percentage share looks good but when i mean country side there were patches where i was at 20 km/hr.

The worst nightmare - was passing a rough patch with the center elivated than the tyre marks and i spoke loudly this is gonna bump (i was sure the road clearence was not enough for what i was driving on). I spoke the words and heard a loud thump and a screech of stone scratching metal. i was dead slow so immediately halted and instead of scratching the entire length, reversed and heard the same thud and scratch on the metal and my heart

i should be happy with the economy but somehow the tall claims of friends of vehicles getting FE of 20+ makes me hoping for a bit more from my beast.

Congrats Ruchirtnt ! ! !
Which model have you selected ? SXI or ZXI? I still had a Question about if SXI are still being sold or is it SXI premium you referring to.

About the PDI checklist. - There is a PDI detailed checklist thread on the forum. I went through it completely and selected the relevant points for me. As I dont think I could do such a detailed check. I think a lot of checks might vary from model and make. (thats my perception though)
All the best ! ! !

its all sxi now and no premium because the chrome grill, chrome OVRM, alloy are now part of sxi and it is a matter four months now for the new sxi, so i am going for new SXI only.
