another thing i have noticed is that at higher speeds the engine noise decreases and quietens down to a bare minimum so that high speed rides are exceptionally smooth and silent. On top of that ghaziabad is set to get it's first nitrogen filled tyres so that should make the ride even smoooother !!!!

@drasit khanna..
did u manage to get the fog lamps fitted to your i20 magna... My uncle is about to buy the i20 CRDI magna. When he insisted for fog lamps the sales guy told him that he would have to replace the entire bumper to fit fog lamps and that it would cost him 10k for the whole thing i.e replacing the bumper/painting and fitting the fog lamps....

Why on earth you will have to replace the bumper to fit fog lamps. The slots that are given for the same purpose. They should just cut out that portion and fit fog lamps there. The sales guy is really duping

I have booked an i20 Sportz petrol from Blue Hyundai, Bangalore. I too want the Fog Lamps and asked them to put it as a freebie...which didnt work. Now they are saying they will do it for me at a nominal cost. still dont know what the 'nominal' cost would be though.

Any ways...what's confusing is...while the Blue Hyundai guys say that it is not necessary to change the bumper...the Advaith Hyundai people claim that it cannot be done without changing the bumper! Advaith Hyundai guys are saying that they usually fit the Asta bumper for this kind of requests, but the sales guy promised me that he too would get me the fog lamps, ie change the bumper and put the Asta Bumper at a 'minimal' cost.

what's shocking is if you try to do anytime after taking the delivery, it will cost you 14000/- as claimed by Advaith.

Now i am all confused! but hoping that the Blue Hyundai guys will do it at 'nominal' cost and dont have to change the bumper.

cheers

Absolutely classy! Thats the only line about the car.
How much is the difference between Magna and Asta versions?

The speaker issue could have been resolved, if you want to go with other vendors.

Hi Drasitkhanna,

Good job I haven't seen an i20 with roof railings yet!

calls for a good pic mate! upload some pics soooooooooooon!!!!

Meantime, I had fogs fitted on my Sportz for just 7500/- the best part is that it looks absolutely original...that is to say...the switch is provided on the indicator/light lever on the steering wheel

will upload pics and my driving experience this week end...I have clocked 1000+ kms in just about 7 days!...when my palio had clocked under 10K kms in a whole of 4 years!!!!

cheers!

Yes Wildon i paid 7500/- for fixing the Asta Model Bumper (of course in exchange to mine) + Paining + Fog Lamps + wiring (retained the controls on the steering)

here are some pics...from the outside...taken on our trip to Kolluru Mookambika Temple recently. I will post some pics from the inside to show the controls mounted. clean job that!
