Another little trick is to not keep the brakes applied while rolling over the bump. The suspension compresses when the brakes are applied, reducing the GC even further. Slow down to the right speed and release the brakes when the front wheels are on the bump. This is easy with a MT car, but in AT it needs some practice.
Wow, didn't know this before. Valuable advice, I guess.

Congrats on the buy. You have choose a fantastic color.
How is performance in paddle shift i.e sports mode.
Never go with the mileage i.e displayed. best method is tank to tank full.

To negotiate a speed breaker, approach it diagonally i.e only one tire should be on the hump followed by others. This should avoid scrapping most of them.
Upgrade your tires to Michelin PP2's. should increase the GC by 5mm. and also improves comfortable ride & handling.

Happy motoring.

Thank you all for your good wishes. I need those while I get used to this car.

Try to take the car in a slight angle (diaganolly) over the speed breaker.
Slow it down to about 10-15 kmph as you approach the speedbreaker and as the front tyre is just starts to climb the speedbreaker, apply the break, just enough to let the car slowly glide thru' the speed breaker. Like I mentioned it is as ART and it took sometime for me to master it.

So you had trouble with your leasing company? Was it ALD?
Within few days I got addicted to AT so much so that I am finding it difficult to drive my old Palio.

Congrats on the new ANHC.You will love the car.You will learn to negotiate the speed breakers soon.ANHC's engine seems to be at a higher level.NHC had engine guard, but it is not needed for ANHC.

Honda has improved ANHC a lot over the NHC,it has to be appreciated.Compared to that Maruthi is not doing enough research.

Please check with the dealer if this will continue. I was told by the dealer that this is special colour for festive occassions and only around 500-600 cars were made by Honda in this colour. Of course, this could be marketing ploy....

So finally, here comes the pics. Actaully, I don't have a digicam. So I had to catch one of my friends to do the job for me. He did a great job. Enjoy the pics....

Congatulations on your new car Shamanth. Nice colour, it requires less maintenance. I have a silver grey coloured car already and moreover my daughter wanted something bit colourful, so decided to blue.

Hey Pratim,

that is an Eye catching colour.

there is an advt on TV where in a 4-5 year old guy asks his Dad, what have you thought of my future !!! ?

These days kids influence several decision, good to know that your daughter influenced the colour of your car

i am sure she will be very safe, secure and comfortable on the rear seat of ANHC. (similar to my 7 year old daughter, ... one more similarity ??)

Hey Shamanth

Congratulations on your new silver ANHC, drife safe, have fun.

You know what? Life has become so boring and colourless, so thought of adding a dash of colour! Glad that you guys like it.

Secure sure she is in the back seats. She enjoys her ride, daddy being the driver. She is very protective about the car. Did not like me taking out the car in the recent rains in Bangalore.
