Pardon my ignorance but does it sport the 164 Ps 2.4 Litre VVT engine?
Nope it has the older 2 Litre engine Along with the awesome all-wheel drive system.

Well here goes.

# It is manual transmission
# Costed 9.5 +
# Insurance valid till July 2010
# Gennuine Stanley (not 100% sure) Leather seats
# it is a 2.0L NOT the mouth watering 2.4L (the cost differential did not justify)
# Yes it looks brand new UNLESS one were to see the scratches from some child artists !!
# Drives & feels like new
# No, the number plate is not dented, picture angle maybe
# Will post more pictures, the ones I took were too heavy & did not load

Thanks everyone.

Heartiest Congratulations & I'd say that's a good price for a 14k kms old car. Do let us know what mileage you get tankful to tankful.

Have fun!

@ suman

Thanks !! I think the 1 year old cars, do get hit the worst. The depreciation is over 5L, so makes sense if one were to be able to get a looked after car.

Ya will put up the mileage figures, soon as I get another tankful.

Cheers

Congrats on your buy. You got it for a good price. The vehicle seems to be in immaculate condition. It's not every other day that you get to see a Grand Vitara. Do most more pictures especially of the interior.

Hi Ricky, as the last picture was taken at stand still - I think the idling is a bit too high, unless of course you were revving

Wish I could get that leather steering cover, I have been looking for 2 years in vain. It is very hard to come by in my location.

Ricky, the FE guage on the GV is incredibly accurate, I doubt it is wrong. Just reset it once (press and hold the button next to it for few seconds) and then do a 20-50Kms drive in the highway. It should give you the right figure.

BTW, my GV completed two years this month, only 17K on the odo, already out of warranty, not a single problem until now despite the horrible abuse it has taken on our coastal roads.

@milecruncher

The picture does show a high RPM, but that is because it was a cold start. Delhi is quite nippy in the morning !

@ samurai

Will check on the Fuel Average reset button. Thanks for the info. If you want I can try & look for the steering cover the next time I go to the service center.

Cheers

GV is a very good SUV. My BiL has it and i drive it often. he just loves it and so do i.
They are also thinking of localising it, once it comes to 10+ range, there will be a lot more users.

Congratulations Ricky. The car looks really neat. Did you buy it from Maruti True Value? I think I saw this particular GV when I was hunting one for myself.
