I was wondering, why did you have to buy 7 wheels until i saw the trailer.
It looks amazing,i had never imagined that i would see alloy wheels on the trailer.

Btw is it legal?

Cool roof lights. I (always) loved that grill.

Does the trailer have brakes?
How is the trailer brake activated?
Did you have to do any mods to make it work?

Number plates look smaller than the legal size for 4 wheelers though.

It is legal when you have a registration for the trailer. Mine is pending.

Brakes are the only thing that I am missing on the trailer. My trailer only came equipped with a hand brake, however a fellow bhpian has an army disposal trailer with srping brakes that work along with his jeep's. Need to get those ASAP.

Yes the plates are smaller but I didnt have a problem even after getting pulled over a couple of times at night for the ramdom checking they do in Hyd.

Phase II Modification - Trailer

You guys have all seen the pics of the trailer now see the making of it.

After various attempts to find a run down trailer I was finally successful, below are the pictures of the trailer being towed.

I am not sure what kind of trailer it is, my most close guess would be a mahindra trailer.

I didn’t want a big (read bulky) trailer for my Bolero, hence the body work started. Scrapped off the body and chopped the chassis to my desire.

New body built along with mud guards.
Bolero trailer needed bolero tail lamps – cavities for them were also cut out.

Colored black ofcourse!

Hello Islam,
Bumped into your thread via your post in "The Official alloy wheel show off thread".
Read the whole story, and I must congratulate you for a splendid job you've done with your Bolero.

I liked the trailer bit the most. Very well made.
The concept seems pretty new to people here, specially asking questions about its legality, etc.
But if one has seen the utility cars in the western world, its easy to spot the use of trailers tugged behind SUVs, used to carry anything from Jet SKi's, Camping gear, Mountain Bikes, etc.

Congrats one again!

Thanks Monaro, you seem to have a very good understanding on the use of a trailer. It definitely comes in very handy.

I think Monaro already clarified your point. Plus its always an advantage while at the farm house and when you have a whole family to pick up from the airport/railway stations .. luggage etc.

Very nice Bolero & trailer. Love your wheels! What size are they? What size of tyres are you using?

Aslam, thats an excellent Bolero you have there! You've done a splendid job executing the mods. Get the taillamps smoked like those on josepeter's Bolero.
Would definitely add to the looks.

Rating this thread as well.

The Bolero looks awesome friend.
Somehow the shape of the holes in the mesh grill does'nt do justice. Dont you get the square ones that are smaller in size and thickness?
And do post some interior pics too. Have you done any mods to the seats?
