Is that the JBL speaker set ? The Nano we (Sam and me) drove had the same kind of speaker set. Looks like JBL speakers are now officially available for the Nano as optional accessory.

Have fun mate. It is a very driveable and capable car.

@ samthe : thanks. a practical mileage would be 18. Wasan also told me that. Called Francis today and he said it will increase by 3 - 4 kms from here on.

@normally_crazy : Dont know which speaker set is it. never really checked with them. although I love listening to music I never had any high expectation from the speakers so never really bothered to check. will find out and post here.

@ SKODA_RS : Thanks. Hope you resolve your Laura issues soon

@ rjvora_2000 : insurance was by ICICI Lombard. Still in the allottees name. Will be transferred once the RC book is done. I think it was around Rs 4456/-

a few queries from other Nano owners :

1) Was the owners car manual given to you at the time of delivery along with the free service coupons?

2) What was the mileage the first time you refueled the car?

Also, a lot of people say the engine sounds different outside but then it should as its a 2 cylinder.

had a client appointment this afternoon at churchgate, just could not find parking, finally went to the Eros pay and park, was full, a getz and a swift in front of me. the parking attendant just told them there was no place but on looking at my car he just invited me in!

Squeezed into the smallest of places between two cars and a lamp post right next to one of the cars

my uncle just checked out the car tonight and pointed out another good point.

he opened the front door and said this opens at almost 90 degrees. never observed that. he said its so much more easier for senior citizens to get in and out of the car.

would like some feedback on this point

just remembered another point :

When I set the music system to "Random" play and I use bluetooth for a phone call, after I disconnect the "random" play gets deactivated. Would not call this an issue but will get this checked.

This sounds like a special firmware feature, would be funny if the service guy gives you a software bug report number on that, will fix it in the next firmware release saar!

Congratulations on your new car. How lucky you are to own a Nano.

I wonder why people are not taking the deliver of the car and asking for refund. Is it just one off case or its among the masses? I sat in nano when it was just launced and was indeed suprised to see the space it offers. There is just one word to describe it ..spacioooooooouuuuusss

Around what speed is this?

Also how many people in the car and AC status? Does it help if no passengers or if AC is off.

This happened at speeds of 50 and above. We were totally three people in the car with AC on. No idea without passengers and AC off. Jasher26 (Jaideep) can check and post back.

This is a comprehensive insurance policy for Icici. On renewal if possible try and avoid this insurer. You can transfer the Insurance without waiting for the transfer in RC book.

Thank you for replying.

Wish you very happy Insured Driving.
