You have to pull the lamp rotary knob once to activate the front fog lamps and twice to illuminate the rear fog lamps.
Try it and let un know if you have got it right.
Amit,
simply pull the headlight knob towards you to switch on the fogs. Pull it completely, and both the front and rear fogs switch on.

Hi Team,
I need some help in identifying a Security system for my Fiesta. I want something like Auto Cop (with theft alarm) but it should integrate with my Fiesta's existing central locking system & also existing remote, as I don't want to carry one more extra remote.
Any suggestions please?
Cheers!
Amit
whats the tire pressure maintained in the tyres now?
im having the same XM1+ and have been confused ever since the change of tyres when the car was bought!!
@ariendj - Tyre pressure which I am using is 30 for all 4 tyres.

This is not possible. Aftermarket burglar alarm systems like Autocop and Xenos cannot be integrated into the stock Fiesta remote. The Fiesta already comes with an immobilizer, but it's passive. If you want an alarm, you have no choice but to carry an extra remote along.

Ford recommends 30psi for front and 35 for reat tyres (all variants except S) basis normal Load.
I am maintaining 30 for front and 31.5 for rear tyres:D
I hope I am not hijacking the thread but just wanted info on the right Ford dealer in Pune. An imminent purchase is on the cards.
@ nairrk,
Should it not be the otherway round? 32 for front and 30 for the rear.
In case of rear load then all the 4 tyres should have 32,

I am getting confused now. I am mainataining the same as recommended by FORD.
Can you all please let me know why you are maintaining anything other than recommended?
@mayukh
Do not get confused . Maintain what the manufacturer says (they even recommend 44 for rear wit full load?).
IMO, 30 for all tyres or 30/32 or little variation will not make too much of difference.
Dont worry, enjoy your driving!

Thanks for clarifying !! Actually I do not have great faith on the information booklet. It's print date is Aug 2008 I remember. Lot many spelling mistakes, contradicting statements, etc.
I actually filled rear with 44 psi once when we were 6 ppl on board (4 at rear). Needless to say the car scraped once over a huge highway bump.

Last month, when I checked air at a petrol pump the guy filled up air
for all tyres at 32 psi and he suggested that this is the correct pressure.
I didnt want to argue with him hence left the place?
Folks,
Just an update to my ownership report. My fiesta completed its running-in period 3 days back on the Mumbai-Pune expressway :). I know it took me a lot of time to cover these 1500 kms. But was travelling a lot, hence was not able to drive this beast much. It will go for its 1st planned service in March, so will post more updates post that.
Also, I have started using the recommended tyre pressure for Ford Fiesta as given in its manual (Front 30 psi & Rear 34 psi).
Cheers!
Amit
