Hi fellow FIGOians ! Need a help. Mine is a red color Titanium model. Does anyone know what is the paint code ? How to get that information ? Is it metallic paint ?

You can guess why I am asking this info...It is been 20 months with my car and have accumulated enough scratches on bumper and left side. Thinking of doing some touch up job as it is only surface scratch with no dent. I was not caring about it much, but last weekend, my left side got 3 scratches, intentionally made with stone. On the wheel drum, front door and back door on left side :-(

Enough to say, there are such sick minds in this world ! I don't want to paint whole panel as it is too expensive. But the off the shelf gimmick products which claims to remove scratches, I am not sure how well it works. So thinking of approaching some paint shop who are expect in doing touch up with brush and then polish. Any good places to suggest in Bangalore ? ( HSR/Koramanagala area )

PS : My TDCi Titanium has crossed 19K and soon will be due for the first paid service. Recently my stereo bluetooth had some issues and got it repaired under warranty through Lathangi Ford. Took almost a month for that.

The prices are updated on the official Ford India website. The Diesel Titanium is now 5.72L.

IIRC, last week it was 5.57L for the Duratorq Titanium.

It is called Colorado red.
And please never get any painting done in the Ford A.S.S.
I had my bonnet repainted in Tirunelveli and it feels like sandpaper.
My Brother in law had his fiesta bumper replaced in Coimbatore and the paint peeled off in 2 months.
My anaesthetist painted his blue figo door in Nagerkoil and was so dissatisfied that he got it sanded and repainted at a local shop.

ABS constitutes the biggest portion. If you see the Ritz vdi vs vdi abs, it is around 50000 for only ABS, IIRC. Also, you get fog lamps, rear wiper and defogger.

wildsdi - thanks for your suggestion ! What I am looking for is the correct computer color code for Colarado red, I guess it is mentioned somewhere in the vehicle where we have the info on VIN number, tyre pressure etc. Need to check.

Of course, I have no plan to get any painting done at Ford A.S.S, they will make a killing. And I don't think they will do any touch up jobs, only full panel painting. That's an overkill for me as what I have are only surface scratches with no dents. If I don't find a decent paint shop which can do touch up job well, I will leave the scratches as it is. It is a given that, in the mad Bangalore traffic, sooner than later I will get some dents on the same areas and at that time I will be forced to do tinkering and full panel painting :-(

Rear wiper(?)

For simple touchups there is no need to go to Authorised SC's. To get the correct color matching, remove the fuel tank lid and take to the reputed paint shop (Dupont). They will give you the correct matching color.

@Revy : I also planned to do this. I bought the scratchfix pen and it prevents rust forming in that area.

I have got my red figo repainted at Sejal motors near marathalli and was very satisfied with the work. Had got a dent on the hatch door, and got it tinkered and repainted.

I've heard sai colorium near banashankari is also good, havent got anything done there though.

Infact I am going to Sejal motors tomorrow as well to get my front bumper repainted.
Cost for the full front bumper repainting would be 2500.
Somebody hit my parked car last week and made a deep scratch on the bumper:Frustrati but thankfully he owned up and agreed to pay for the repair. Since I had some other scratches on the other side of the bumper too, I thought of getting the entire bumper repainted. He will be paying half of the expense.
Will update again after I get the repainting done.
