See, that's the problem. Whenever I long press the menu button, I get the "Bluetooth Waiting" message only.

You have done only half of the steps.
Try this, After you get Bluetooth waiting message Press Menu button again for few seconds and you would get Bluetooth phone connection options.

I took below video in case if it helps, sorry for not so good quality video.

I tried the same steps you are doing, but still I get the same Bluetooth Waiting message only. What am I missing here?

Might be a visit to service station is required for firmware reinstallation. I will try and check from one of the local technician when I visit for my regular servicing soon.

Now to my real question: if this is the case, is there any way I can clear the list of all paired devices from outside the Bluetooth menu and try afresh?
If nothing works I might have to take it in to Ford service, which I am very reluctant to do so. Can anyone help me with this. please:

Please check if the Bluetooth is switched on. You have the option to switch it on/off in the system, maybe that's why you are getting the "Bluetooth waiting" message.

Thank you. Please let me know if you get some information.

The "Bluetooth waiting" message appears only if the Bluetooth option is switched ON. Otherwise "Bluetooth Off" message is shown if the call button is pressed or if the Bluetooth menu is accessed. "

I am facing the same issue now. Were you able to find a new DC motor?

Also, is it possible for you elaborate steps to clean the current motor and reinstalling the same?

After cleaning the carbon deposits from the motor, it was working fine so I did not look for a new motor. The car was sold in May 2019 with boot lock working perfectly fine.

You can open the DC motor from the backside using a small screwdriver and gently clean the armature with a soft brush or cloth. The tedious part is to open the plastic case of the armature.

Can someone suggest a good FNG for Figo in Bangalore - preferably south Bangalore?

The mileage (Kmpl) on my Ford Figo Diesel has dropped dramatically to just around 10 Kmpl in the city and around 13-14 highway and around 12 kmpl overall.

Anything to check or get repaired? This mileage is despite filling at Shell.

My car earlier used to deliver around 14-15 in the city and 19-20 on highways. My car's odo is currently at 87000.

Possibly a clogged airfilter or the injectors may be clogged.
Try replacing the airfilter and maybe a couple of tankfulls with injector cleaner. Maybe this might help :thumbs up

I just replaced the air filter last week. Doesn't seem to have made any improvement. I suspect either the clutch is giving up impacting FE or the injectors have gone kaput again. :Frustrati

Hmmm.. How many km have you run on the clutch so far? Injectors kaput again?? One of the many reasons I sold off my figo.. :Frustrati If they're relatively new maybe some injector cleaner or liqui moly's diesel purge should help..

How much is the air filter?

Is it available over the counter? I can replace it myself i guess.

FYI it's perfectly safe and normal to clean the injectors at a injector specialist.

The filter is around 250-300 IIRC.. Yes it is super easy to replace.

The clutch is stock and has run for 87000 km and its due for replacement.

I had injector issues last April ( 2018), FASS diagnosed 2 injectors had failed and wanted to replace them .

I removed the injectors at an FNG and took it to injector specialists who cleaned and checked all 4 injectors and diagnosed 1 had failed and I replaced that one alone.

The air filter is available even outside. Fiesta diesel Air filters are a direct fit.

If you say that the clutch is due for replacement, it could very well be the reason for your poor FE. Checking wear is easy and a quick google search should show you the way. :thumbs up
