I really want to know if there is anything else removed from the ZXi compared to Titanium.

So far we have seen the plastic centre console around handbrake is not there in ZXi but there is no mention in brochure. Hopefully we can get this fitted later on as that will be the only bottle holder in the rear.

The EXi says no Tachometer but the EXi seen has the Tacho.

Why does the brochure have these typos?

I think there are bottle holders one every door, including rear.

Thanks for the replies Mustang.101.

The 3 questions above for Titanium. Are these features on the ZXi as well?

The Dog bar is the horizontal/diagonal metal bar which was in the Fiesta in front of the radiator behind the bumper to prevent radiator damage when you hit a dog/cattle.

This feature was specially advertised for India.

Hmmm, Another difference not given in the brochure.

Titanium version has 260mm diameter brake discs up front and 203mm brake drums in the rear.

The lower variants have 238mm brake discs up front and 180mm brake drums at the rear.

I fail to understand why these major difference are nowhere advertised in the brochure.

This is due to abs in titanium. In many reviews this is mention. Even GTO have said titanium has a larger disc brakes than others.

Fantasitic

Had been to Lathangi Ford for test drive in evening and here are my experience
SATURDAY:

1. Its a mela crowd at Ford showroom!!! Phew! There were 4-5 test drive cars and there wasn't any cars idle. Thats a great start Ford! Congratulations!!!

2. They sales Guys like Mayya etc were ethu. trying to balance everybody out there with the test drives.

3. I took rhe Petrol Tit version test drive. Most P test drives where with 2 customers, so was mine, so we were 5 in total in the car.

Experience:
-----------
- Damn good low end Torgue.
- No so exciting mid range (40-80) acceleration even when we switch off A/c. Now here I must bring to your notice that we were 5 in car : we 2, another couple and this Mayya Sales Guy. -

(Thats approx 80+50+70+50+65=315kgs)

With that I don't see any issues for small families. The mid range can be exciting when not fully loaded.
I understand Folks rating this bad based on Civic, Honda, Fiesta etc etc.

I clearly see a good engine & all great package if you are upgrading from current (< 4 Lacs) range.

- For me the biggest question is highway milage with decent driving ( with ~100 kmph cruising, no hard acceleration, downshifted overtaking) etc. So I am forced for now to wait for the data before jumping in (Vow ? What happens to the unbreakable Vow ?)

- There was one bottom scrap at a weird angle while getting down from tar road to mud road. Speed breakers were well past in the billekalhalli area.

-Nobody @ Showroom was acknowledging the bigger brakes on Titanium. Hence need to check out the lower version braking with test drive once more. The Lxi model is decent buy... However I don't know what critical areas Ford has cut-down for Lxi. Visibly there is no left mirror, no silver finish on dash, no RPM, the rims are white, etc etc. I sincerely hope there is no chassis/suspension changes between Titanium vs lower models (esp. Lxi, Exi) like in Fiat Palio - No Balancing Rod that would be big letdown.

Ford has that jump start this FY, If it can follow up with good no-nonsense service it will be great second coming.

No bottle holder around the handbrake in lower models. Confirmed this at the showroom. Only available on the Titanium.

Color spectrum:
Green was unaimously the favourite color in my family.
Red got 1 vote while White was admired but not considered practical.
I would love the Aquarius Blue on this. But hell, no such option of even blue.

This thread had crossed 80 pages in 2 months. Did any other test drive thread created so much of attention?

Mustang.101, I think most of us would agree that your posts have been extremely helpful. Since you have already declared that you work for Ford, it is understood that some of your subjective comments need to be taken with a pinch of salt. But I think you are entitled to your opinion nevertheless as a Ford owner and a Team BHP member. If you feel the Figo is stable at 150 kmph, that's your opinion. Just put a disclaimer after every such post and people can draw their own conclusions.

Question time again. Figo TDCi is being advertised with a 1 year/10K service interval. Does that now apply to the Fiesta TDCi too? As far as I know, the Fiesta is 6 months/5K kms.
