There is another fiesta thread where the spoiler was first fixed and then removed..you may want to look at the same before deciding on the spoiler.

In my personal opinion, I think the car looks better without the spoiler..though I did fix it on my Silver SXI, it does not give the same look compared to an Ikon which I had earlier. In the Ikon, the boot was slanting upwards, and adding the rear spoiler gave it an elegant curvature..but somehow, in Fiesta, since the boot is almost straight horizontally, plus the height gap between the boot & the spoiler is tiny..from certain angles it comes across ugly to me. Unfortunately mine one is not clip type (I think so), otherwise I would have got it removed.

viper, congrats! Your car is a beauty. Don't put too much mileage on your stock tires if you plan to get the Contis in 15 days.

You should have gotten the sports spoiler. It looks much better than the regular one and it has some actual aerodynamic effect at high speeds.

Tyres are being changed today (hopefully!) I don't have spoiler plans for atleast 3 months and will definitely consider the sports spoiler.

The tyres got upgraded!
I exchanged the MRF z2K's that came as OE (175/65 R14) for Michelin XM1+ (185/65 R14)
I wanted to go for the conti CPC2 but no stocks in BLR :(

The ride is better and quieter now.

Congrats viper_711 on this VFM purchase. It's a driver's delight . Btw even I purchased a Fiesta 1.6 SXi (Moondust Silver) in January. Got Michelin Energy XM1+ (185/65 R14) and 3M CR50 fitted .

You can check out my initial ownership report here:

Happy and safe driving.

Cheers!
Amit

Congrats Viper! Wish you many many happy miles!

CPC2 is one of the best tyres out there! I am having great difficulty in finding one for my Fiesta as well ( I want to stick to the stock size though)

If you want a performance tire in the stock 195/55/R15, try Yoko S Drive. I don't think Conti is officially available in this size here. Did you check if any of the major tire guys here can source it from Mumbai or Delhi gray market?

I am trying to import the CPC2 (195/55 R15) through one of my sources

Will let you know the details when we are at a weekend meet.

Cool! So you must be planning to really flog your Goodyears on the track day if the Contis are on the horizon.
