Could you please post the pic of the extra cushioning done for driver seat. What was the cost of extra cushioning.
Thanks for your good wishes. Actually the guy at the seat cover vendor detached the driver seat, opened it from below and then he put the extra cushion of @ 2 inch thickness. It was a small & simple task for him & I being his old customer he did it for free. Since the seat is fixed now, I won't be able to take any picture of the cushion now.

I got it in less than 2 weeks. Booked on 18'th Jan and got the car delivered on 2'nd Feb. I've heard now the delivery period is @ 2 months.

i doubt beats waiting period of 2 months. Just last week i took a TD of the beat and was given the waiting period to be 2 weeks. This was at national garage, Mumbai.

The waiting period depends on the following:
- Colour (Green, Red & Blue - more waiting period. I had booked for green LT on 05th feb and still waiting, but could have taken delivery 2 days back if opted for black or white)
- Version (LT & LTO - mote waiting period - LTO- more than 2 months because GM's pre-launch forecast went upside down!)
- City (If the number of booking in some particular city is very high compared to their market forecast, then there is a chance for delay)
- Dealer (Some dealers get faster delivery by using their influence)

Hi all
Just Joined
This is my first post on Team BHP
Congrats to new Beat owners
Just had a look at the Beat myself today
Test drive tomo!

There's obviously many good things about the beat

But anybody hear any bad things that I should watch out for?

BTW i'll be deciding between the Beat, Polo and Figo shortly. Any advice?
Thanks

All three are new cars on Indian soil, but Polo and Figo are proven platforms abroad. Where as BEAT is all new.

Beat is the best VFM and from the specs its got the better 1.2 petrol engine compared to the other two.

1- you may not get enough visibility to your query here, instead if you post a new thread, you will get more replies
2 its a difficult question, you have not mentioned any factors based on which you are deciding
Overall if you search all reviews the verdict comes out like this
1. Figo if you want a diesel car
2. Polo if you want a 1.2 petrol and can pay the premium
3. If your budget is sub 5 lacs, beat is the choice, period.
Hope this helps

Congrats BlueBeat,

When I booked mine, Green is the first choice and Blue is the second option. Blue also looks very good on road.
Please post a picture of the seat cushioning you have made even if the cushion is not visible outside. I just want to see how much height is increased effectively.

Have safe drives on your Beat!!
