Got my oil burner Fiesta 1.4 DuraTORQ ZXI. 5000K Service update Pg3

Yesterday i got my first car - a Ford Fiesta TDCi ZXi version. Like a boy i'm excited
The dealer experience was above average. everything was more or less on time. The sunfilm and mudflaps were properly installed. The only problems were:
  1. Salesman tried to push those black rubber floor mats. I demanded the beige colour ones which he gave after some hesitation.
  2. They did not provide me with the 5L coupon even after asking and claimed they have put that much diesel in the car. I immediately did a full tank fill and was able to squeeze in 44.3L in a 45L tank!
But these are all minor things which were totally sidelined by the excitement of owning a car which is of a higher segment than what i was initially planning to buy.

Finally, i would like to thank all TBHPians who helped me in making this decision.

I will keep updating this thread with my experiences.

Thats a good choice. Team-bhp is flooding with fiestas now. A very good choice. I do love that vehicle. NOw zxi with ABS makes so much sense, and also the leather inetriors are great. Also very nice choice of color, morello is very unique.

I have Raigad/panvel registration, so OTR is 8L post corporate discount of 8K.
Prices have gone up by 20K or so for ZXi, but i beat the price increase just by a couple of days

Hi Kapil..Fiesta da Jawaab Nahin!

Great choice of color.

Beige rubber mats! Won't that get/look dirty very easily?

EDIT : Just saw the OTR - 8L for ZXi..I got my SXI in Dec09 for 8.08L including Insurance/Sunfilm/Waxoyl/Spoiler and almost all Ford accessories/EW for 3rd/4th year...has it gone up so much...can u reconfirm!

EDIT : Ok, this is Diesel, right?

Congrats on your purchase. This is a very nice car to drive and I really loved it when I was out looking for a new car. I almost finalized it but for the salesman.... that is history now.

But yes again a very nice car to drive and its tried and tested.

That is indeed the diesel which is about a lac more than the petrol.

Congratulations on an excellent buy. The car is great to drive and very very FE.

One of my favourite sedans

Does it come with the Remote Locking / Remote Bootlid opening ? A friend has a top variant and it comes with that and is a very nice feature.
