Congrats for the Civic. It certainly looks in good shape, the Honda badge needs a replacement, though. How much did you cough up for it?

'gratz on the car.

It desperately needs a wax and polish job to bring out the pearl effect though.

thanks again. the price paid was 9 laks. 18ooo kms done. the price is high but its autobox and this color is difficult to find. paid 10k more to honda and got extended warranty done. so for another 2 years no tention of parts breaking down. lots of things to come. mostly cosmetic a few engine mods. let the wait begin...

Congratulations Jesal for a great car in an awesome colour. Now I know why you cancelled the sapphire blue ANHC. Wish you many many miles of happy and safe motoring in your new car.

yeah now you do know the reason. i guess this was meant to be. the city again would be just a compromise really. plus that was for 11.5 laks and this was a full 2.5 lak cheaper than city so i had to take the plunge. i do still have the older 06 city cvt though

Seriously, it just makes more sense and i now see the light. My best friend bought a Oct'07 make Jan '08 registered Silver Skoda Superb Diesel done 26,000kms for 12L in excellent condition. I am in the hunt now and will get * an Automatic Civic next month. Only problem is convincing Dad into buying a used car, just discussing right now, he's hellbent on a new one. Have one month to show him the light.

i totally understand why people for so long have bought used cars it does make sense after all this is my first used car and my dad was more than happy to get used since we were saving 5 laks on a car i just wanted for kitting up. So he was ready alright. New civic today costs 16 laks on road in bombay which is stupid. And since my car in under warranty i have less issues on my head to worry about my car breaking down.

Congrats on the buy. Love the color. IIRC this color was launched with the V.

Congratulations, the car is really neat from inside and from outside. A good polish job is what I feel is missing.

Just love this colour.

Congratulations Jesal! I just picked up a pre-owned Civic myself. An '08 AT for 9 lakhs is a pretty mean deal.

Drive safe.

thanks and congrats on your car as well. looks good.i think it was 50k more but i dint care as it was exactly the way i wanted my car. purple was my first priority.

any place and a damn good one to get car waxed and polished and stuff ? i did a home polish with a rented machine but its not yet killing it. the color still has a lot of potential to dish out. but for 500 bucks this is good for now.

a little update on the accessories already installed on the car :

Vkool tints everywhere : rs 20000
Underbody rusting protection : 10000
Teflon coating : rs 10000
Honda mats : rs 1000
cigarette lighter : rs 500

all of this was carried out at honda itself and the bills were provided. i was more than happy for this.

vKool price depends on which film you selected and they are more or less standard.
teflon and underbody coating seem to be on the higher side.
