Wow - 2200 kms in 8 days! That's some serious mile-crunching. And the FE figures are outstanding for a brand new car! Congratulations again.

Sorry to hear about the incident with the biker. Did it happen in Chennai? Hope the beauty gets restored to pristine state ASAP.

Total FE as on date.

ODO Starting : 135 kMS
ODO Ending : 2224 KMS
Fuel Consumption : 128 litres
Fuel Economy : 17.375 KMPL
That is quite decent for the way i have driven, and using it in city commuting almost 20% of the distance, that too in chennai and coimbatore traffic. Also cruising at 120 KMPH in the highways and quite hard on acceleration after 1000 KMS in the ODO.

Yes that is due to the OEM FOAM seat, i should have gone with the original design to avoid this. There is a cut in the OEM Seat FOAM in that area where you find wrinkles, previously that was taken care of by a vertical stitch in the OEM fabric covers, but in my case the design is just parallel horizontal design so it will not be possible to avoid this wrinkle.

Reverse parking sensor cost was Rs. 3.2K from Auto cap, and it is fixed on top of the OEM IRVM.
Even the damage was not making me frenzy but the chrome strip was said to take at least a week's time by TATA_FIAT madurai dealer, so sourced it from Trichy VST motors sending my driver to collect it by bus, 400 KMS up and down for a chrome strip is no joke. Frightened about FIAT A.S.S.

It was done in Coimbatore Stanley Boutique, the leather covers were received in stitched form from Bangalore Stanley, based on the design i sent them by E-mail and then guys from Chennai Stanley came to Coimbatore to do this work. I left it at 9:00 AM and they gave the car by 9:00 PM as they were giving preference to a Volkswagon Jetta customer who happens to be a friend of their Boss. It should not take more than (6-8) Hours if properly done

The black stanley seat covers look HOT !!!!

Sad to see the broken chrome strip and the strip is pretty costly (approx rs. 2400) !
