Just got the second free service done yesterday. Did not opt for the ECU remap. The usual oil change, fluid top up etc servicing and inspection was carried out.

The car's odo stands at 5300 presently and I had also got all 4 wheels rotated and wheel balancing done for 438/-

Now the car feels smoother, the steering responds a tad better and there is a slight improvement in pickup though not very evident. Overall a job well done I can say.

Kudos to Frontline motors for their service

Yes its being done for all Beats sold during the early months of its release due to feedback from users that there is not much pull on 2nd gear when just engaged.

Now that the ICE project is complete, I am planning to install Bi-Xenon HIDs with angel eyes for my car.
Doing a lot of study and research on this. Probably will do a retro fit for the headlights and also looking at possibilities for projector lamps for fogs.
Interested in Bosch or Hella projectors at 4300K and 3000K fog lamps. Plans to materialise when Vitamin M is at its optimum level

Lokks nice!
BTW just monitor your tire pressure for a few days after you put these on. Are these the glow-in-the-dark types?

These are ordinary ones. Trik Topz brands. Just google them. I lost 2 of my caps so was pretty much lazy to look around for new ones and steal from other's cars too

Thus I ended up ordering these from ebay

Hi Alston,

It was a wonderful experience while reading your complete review. Now i am also a proud owner of Chevrolet Beat LT (black). Will post the pictures and my experiences soon.

And also i noticed the price difference is pretty big in Mangalore while comparing it with Trivandrum. I wonder how did this happened?

Hi Vivek,

Welcome to tbhp and the Beat club, congrats on your baby. Looking forward to your review.

Regarding the price difference, is it higher than that of what I spent or the other way round? Just to give you a heads up, I booked my car in January itself and the price I paid was the introductory price.

Happy motoring,
Cheers,
Alston

Alston,
The price in Karnataka is too high when compared to Kerala price.
The reason is Taxes are sky high in Karnataka.
LTT is around 14% in KA and ~6% in KL.
Even the VAT is also more in KA.
You know, one of my friend bought a Beat LT Option Pack from Kerala, for the same price I paid for Beat LT in Karnataka.
