Indica Vista -- Am loving it.

The first time i test drove the Vista Quadrajet was a couple of months back, i was trying to find a replacement for my 2006 zen which has served me quite well for almost 4 years now and is in top condition except for a few squeaks here and there, low on space and i feel pushed around by other modern day cars which i don't like. I fell in love with the car the moment i started her, she is quite, compared to the other hatchbacks which sport the same engine, not an outright mile muncher (found the Palio MJD quicker), but the turbo is quite linear. Breaks are quite good compared to my zen and feels rubbery too. Now, the best thing about her, space, space and space, she is big. Head room, leg room and width, top class, i didn't feel claustrophobic.

Suspension is superb, its been a while when i last got a chance to experience the amby, but the moment i took her over a speed breaker, it reminded me of the comfort.

So after almost two months and TDing most of the hatchbacks in this segment (Punto MJD, Palio MJD, I20 Petrol, Swift DDIS) and checking out the Ford Figo and Ritz (no TD, just the feel of the interiors and looks), I have booked a Vista ABS porcelain white on Monday (15/03/10). Got a good price for my zen and a good prospective owner whom i felt would take good care of my first love.

If all goes well (loan procedures and vehicle arrives on time, she is in transit) i would be able to take her home by next weekend. Am really excited about it and will update more soon...

Am really

Note from Support:

Congratulations on the car! Please note that Team-BHP does not permit booking / buying experience threads in the Test-Drives section anymore. For the benefit of members & guests alike, it is now imperative to include a complete driving / ownership report on your car.

This thread is temporarily closed. Please PM me or report this post once you are ready to update this thread with a complete driving report; that's when it shall be re-opened. Thanks for your support.
