Congratulations on your new purchase.

I too have visited Bhavna Ford in Nerul to TD their Ford Fiesta and the showroom wears a desolate look and in fact was quite dirty. I shall post my comments in my own ownership thread in a couple of days.

I suggest you cut / paste the dealership related comments and post separately in the dealership review section and I'll add my own comments. This will warn other potential buyers in Navi Mumbai

Congrats Iceman. Figo is indeed a great VFM at the moment. Please post some high resolution pictures and if possible, edit the original post.

PS: Mods, if he cannot do it, can you do it? I didn't read the buying experience due to huge paragraphs and it was a strain on the eyes.

Thank you all for your good wishes.I dont know how i missed this detail but the Figo i have purchased is the DIESEL variant.Like i have mentioned earlier, i am thoroughly enjoying the car.
Some of my obseravtions so far:-

* The car does feel a bit under powered at lower speeds and you have to get used to downshifting earlier.Like for instance at speed breakers, it just wudnt pull in 2nd gear and you have to make sure you are in the first gear. This is the first diesel in the family so i guess it may also require some getting used to.

* You can hear the diesel clatter inside the cabin especially in the first and second gear although it isnt that bad.It starts getting better once you go past the second gear. However , when the car is stationary with the AC on, the sound is bit loud if you stand outside the car. Its much more then i had expected it to be.

*I am unable to stream music from my Iphone. I have been told that its not possible to stream music from certain phones and unfortunately iphone is one of them.It works fine with a nokia and samsung that have been tried so far. Could some body shed some light on that please.

*And coming down to the most important aspect of Fuel Efficiency.Well, i havent had a chance to perform the tank full to tank full method but as per my obseravtion in driving 300 kms, its returning a FE of 14kmpl.This has been worked out on the Distance to Empty method. I believe it is almost accurate as the DTE is in sync with the ODO and there isnt much variation between the ODO and the DTE. Will update with accurate figures as soon as i get a chance.

But all said and done, i believe i have made the right choice. Will be uploading some pics shortly.

Congrats! It's raining Figos on TeamBHP!! Looks best in white. Doesn't it come with alloys from the factory itself?

Wheelcaps are removed in all cars in the yard to prevent damage. They must be on by now.

No alloys in any variant of the Figo.

Nice to see a 1.6S standing in front of the Figo in the 2nd pic. I have the same one.

Looks amazing in white[ i had red i10 though, which was my favored colour] , I think i'll go mad and buy this one. By adding Alloy wheels, it will be stunning like katrina.
