The Car looks sutnning in Black colour - Congratulations!

special freebie - yes, Scissors, -may be for you to cut the ribbons (incase metro ford used to read tbhp forum and some one reading your thread, definitely they will send their guys to collect the scissor back - LOL?)

It looks like that the heating gauge is missing in the instrument panel -how will you come to know whether the car is overheating? is this device provided anywhere else?

They launched it before the Figo. It's called the Fiesta.

But no body will tell fiesta and figo are sibling. I feel many difference. The figo resembles to European fiesta but not fiesta India.

Captain, Looks like Bangalore is a small place. Today I were tailing you all along Hosur road, Double road and finally till Metro. You were on the way to get the registration formalities right?

The color black looks great on Figo - do take proper care of the color. As a oft repeated saying goes 'a black car is not a car, its a full time job'!
Any planned mods?
Thank you blackasta, Yes maintaining black is hard work. Also I feel black heats up a lot more compared to other colors.
I felt that yesterday and today.

Nothing during the warranty period. For now its going to be only Fog lamps and some TINTS!

Thank you Nairrk,
There is a light on the dash which shows when the engine is overheating.
As for the scissors I think ford should give this to every figo customer lol.

I would still prefer the good old temp gauge and miss it on the Figo.
Cost cutting by ford?

poloman
Indeed it is! so you were the in one white swift? There were 2 cars tailing me for a while. One of them was a white swift with dark tints and the other was a zen.
So which one was you??
I used to work for MI6! So no one goes unnoticed by me. HAHA

Captain, I was in white Zen coming after a second test drive of Polo from Elite motors. Going towards Sangeeth to catch a movie. Did you receive Reg No. Also remove the pooja symbols from the car at the earliest. if not removed in time may create patches particularly on a black car.

yes indeed, a gauge is always better. Suppose when the light glows, is there any way to find how much overheating happening?. If it was in a gauge, we can see how much more than the normal position -is the needle touching extreme heat condition (red mark) or just one point above the normal level etc . According to the needle position, we can take a decision whether to stop instantly or manage to drive some more distance or until locate a workshop?

Absence of temp gauge is handled by LED warning with audible chime in Figo

The below link gives you the exact info

Nice scissors !!!

Congrats on the buy. 15 days seems to be good for a brand new hot hatch.

I'm been quiet on my front. Just got my finances, so will call my dealer and check my status tomorrow. I would also be going for the RTGS option as I hate taking a DD. But a DD is a document and is safer compared to sending out few lakhs by mistake to the wrong person.

I have tons of pending work in the Office and need to also do this task.

Congrats! The color is excellent. Ford Figo is nicely packaged with an attractive price tag. What FE are you getting currently?

milk it ?

Did you milk your donkey ? Sir, Belated but congratulations on the fantabulous Car. Wanted to ask, how are the headlamps lumen rating ? I know all factory fits come with 55/50W but we see some great difference between Indicas vs Maruti. How are the Figo headlamps for the driver ?

Wanted to ask you on ...
In B'lore traffic, how is the visibility w.r.t tiny road dividers ?
Outside noise insulation with all windows rolled up ?
Ease of parking in apartments/malls and with street parking (parallel) ?
Any particular blind spots you noticied ?
