Fortuner in White = Awesome! I have seen them in other colors but they don't have the road presence a white one has. Black tints go well on them. BTW, what is the fender mirror? Is it the one that is on the bonnet, just above the headlights?

OT : Forged signatures? Looks like someone is going the Skoda way. Another reason for your comparison between Fortuner and Superb

This one offically ends the spree :(

Most of our cars are younger than a year at the moment. The 525d is the only one thats 2.5 years old now, so that will probably be replaced next, which will be after a year or two.
Co-incidently Shaman MB dealer has been chasing me to bring a car in for a TD so tomorrow I'll be taking the E350CDi and S350 for a spin. But I'm not getting any ideas in my head, just yet

Had to settle for a not so fancy number - 8040

The thane RTO is towards the end of it's current series, I checked for every possible number from double digits to triple digits to 000 ending, all gone ! I personally wanted 8000 number for this car.

Besides the thane RTO has been having serious problem of late as they have stopped the NAP(no address proof).

OMG!! What a Garage Sahil replete with all those beauties.
Anyways, congrats for the Fortuner. The waiting period is certainly very long.
Waiting eagerly for the snaps of the Fortuner.

Congrats sahil for the buy. Welcome to the Fortuner club. The brakes in my car are much better than earlier after they replaced it with upgraded kit.

Dilip- I peaked through the alloys and saw that the brakes, they look similar to the upgraded kit pics you had posted. How do i actually check if I have the upgraded kit or not ?
I will however complain of the spongy feel during the first service. Should I contact Toyota or just do it via the dealer?

Fortuner

Sahil
It will be better if you contact toyota first via e-mail or phone. In my case I did not get a reply after 2 consecutive mails, but the dealer contacted me and asked me to bring my car for replacement. The dealer did not allow me to take photos of the old pads saying they dont give details of the parts changed under warranty. weird!!isn't it?

Congrats on the buy brother. Do keep us posted with the review and pics. And, Any reports that the braking issue is going to get sorted ? Any other issues surfaced in your days with the car ? I might get lucky with one here, even I want white. Only going in for the buy if they fit a disc in rear too. Or get it sorted some way or the other.
