Congrats on your new car, its a great buy. Go for 3M RE 35, its really a nice film. Its slightly reflective thou, gives any new car a good look. You can check these pics, I have it on rear and sides.

For front always go for something better like CR 70, may be later if you want to postpone. Because I feel RE 70 may be reflective from the front and its not a good idea if it reflects from the front.

it looks very good and anice ride too. CR 70 will set me back by quite a bit, around 6k the 3m dealer mentioned. How much did you pay for RE35 and where did you get it done?

Thanks, go for it and you won't regret it

i currently use the yellow cloth and a static duster to clean the car exterior, i havent got my hands on the blue cloth yet. Is there any other type of cloth to be used for cleaning the car, thing is the yello cloth leaves strands on the windscreen and circular marks. What to do about that?

What? Yellow/Blue cloth? Which age you are in dude?
Get yourself a jopasu pack asap! How come you missed the Jopasu thread.

But, seriously, you should consider microfiber clothes, a set of 3 shld cost you <250, and will last much more longer than the yellow/blue ones.

Yea people, Dont use those yellow/blue dusters. Use microfibre cloths only. They cost around Rs.70 each in delhi & around Rs.80 each in Chennai.

Took her for a long drive with family, 6 adults. Dad, mom, wifey, her mom and her brother. did about 80 kms drive,. don't ask how 6 ppl fit in, 4 in the 3 sit rear, not the most comfortable position but we managed to squeeze in. First thing was to check air pressure kept it at 34 for all tyres. Drive was really nice, now started to shift gears at 2500 rpm, 4th gear 2500 rpm about 90kmph and at 5th 120kmph. did not push it further for now, tried leaving the steering wheel, gradually goes towards the left and upon correction does not immediately veer to left but gradually does. so still not sure, thinking of changing the tyres to Yoko any suggestions are welcome?
was returning and at a speed breaker scrapped something at the bottom. this is the second time have manged to scrap the under body. First wife and me, took a bump in second gear and this time again second gear, scrapped the bottom. Something needs to be done and i have seen in other figo ownership threads same issue.
Pending works, sunfilm needs to be done and thinking of changing tyres, suggestions invited?
one more thing the fuel indicator shows half empty tank with 278 in trip meter, gives 12.3 kmpl , DTE shows 370 km and with half tank thats 16.3 kmpl. bit confusing, planning to fill tank again and check.

@scorpio

Congrats on your red Figuu. I have changed my tyres to Yoko A drives. No issues about grip or handling but road/tyre noise is an issue over 80 kph. Perhaps XM1+ may be a better choice.

No issues. Warranty issues only if you change the tyre specs or upsize the rim.

What is the price of michelin XM1+. The warranty of tires is given by the Tire Dealer and not by Ford if changed.
