The car feels quite solid and pulls pretty well for a diesel, we stay on top of a hill and at times I had to shift to first from second as the car wasn't pulling at places where my Alto would chug along in second gear.

Will post pictures and a more detailed report later.
@joe:
Congrats on the car. Hope to see some pics up soon.
Have you put any accessories?
About the engine, this is a diesel hence isnt as revv friendly as a petrol.
Once you get the hang of it, you will love the low end torque, and the pulling power.
Drive for a week, and keep the rpms at between 1500 - 2500.
Upshift at around 1750-2000rpm and you will soon get the hang of the engine and gears.

Looks really sweet, man! White is definitely the best colour for figo and with those tints it's amazing!

Congrats and drive safe

Congrats Joe.

Two Mody Ford stickers on the back? Please tell them that they aren't paying you royalty to keep their ads on your car. Take them off.

Congrats on the new ride Joe,

Happy mile munching in your new diesel. You will love everytime you go to the Petrol Pump as you will be spending lot lesser on the diet for this car as compared to petrol ---

I have driven only those run on petrol so far and recently did some test drives of diesels.. For whatever reason, I am not able to feel comfortable with the diesels especially as I start moving the car. Normally, I upshift based on the engine grunt and the pull and downshift when I think there is not much response to the accelerator. Seems like there is something I am missing on how to drive the diesels. The one thing I realized was, coming from a petrol background, it is much easier to drive the figo 1.4 in the city than the punto 1.3. Do we need to keep an eye on the tacho always? Can someone help ? Sorry if this is off-topic
