1) I know this helps but haven't been patient enough to implement this.

Please do the idling religiously!

@ Happywheels: Yesss Sir!!! Did it today.

BTW what's the correct way to do it, should rev it up to 3000 rpm and then let it idle for a minute or should I just let it idle for a minute???

Now some pics:

Must have' for long trips: Air Pump and 12 ltr fridge. The fridge is the best accessory I could have added to the beast. Can be used both in your car and any place you visit. We used it on our last trip for baby food and drinks for everyone (non-alcoholic for me while driving).

Can you please share some details on these two accessories? Make/price etc? I am assuming both run on the standard 12V (cigarette lighter) outlet, right?

Drive normally to it parking spot; wait for a minute and then switch off. Do not rev it up. The idea is to keep the vehicle running for sometime after the last turbo spool. So, if possible, you can do the last few meters to the parking spot ensuring your RPM is within 1000 (the turbo spool range) and switch off immediately.

Here are the details:

Air Pump: 12V DC from the mobile charger outlet.
Cost: 2400/-
Make: Linus Auto Parts (there are plenty of options available on this one)

Fridge: (Actually was a birthday gift from my wife) Works on dual input. 12V DC from the mobile charger and 220V which you would get at your home/hotel. Ideal for budget hotels which don't provide fridge and for long journey through the unknown roads.
Cost: 8300/-
Make: RK Enterprise. AFAIK they are only one in India.
