What happened to all the Honda Cities, Fiat Lineas, Chevy Optras, Mitsubishi Cedias and Ford Fiestas??

I'm sure yours was a typo there!!

Hey Poloman,
The OTR price comes upto 7,05,426. But since it was a corporate purchase, I got a corp discount of 10K, which is on ex-showroom price. So all the other prices are percentage of it, so it comes down to 6.9 - 6.95 I guess. Will check on the backlight of the ICE HU and let you know.

Cheers,
Laxminarayan

Congrats on the new car! I too find the polo's design to be elegant.

OT: Your story about 5 colleagues teaming up and looking for Innova and the dealer not budging is very similar what one of my colleagues in office was mentioning to me. Do you perchance work in the organization in EPIP, whitefield where the transport shuttle timings are 5 & 7 in the evening?

Congrats, Laxminarayan for the Polo. It certainly has oodles of style. Surely a head turner in red.
Wishing you lots of happy miles with the baby VW.

No my dear friend !! no mistake at all, In the current market cars priced less than 14lacs i think Polo looks the best and second would be the Punto.

Honda City looks good except the front portion. If that can be fixed may be it will climb to second position in my sub 14 lacs list. Beyond 14 lacs i guess nothing comes close to a Civic. To be more specific Civic with a Mugen-Si kit this is the one i am talking about http://www.productioncars.com/galler...da&model=Civic

Dude, no offence meant, looks are highly subjective.

Thanks, no, there is no under bonnet insulation. Should be only in diesel cars I guess.

Laxmi, How do you find the seating comfort of the driver. I found my left leg slightly brushing with the dash. Also accelerator was slipping below my feet. The road visibility also is poor compared to Figo.
