@Sam, you rock dude. As if the English thread wasn't awesome enough. This takes the cake.

I have always liked the Superb and think it offers incredible VFM for a luxe car. I was tempted to go for its baby sister the Laura DSG but then decided to save up for the real thing. Maybe in 5 years I write one of these eh?

Unfortunately, the first Christmas with my superb is spent in separation. The car is at the Skoda garage.

In an unfortunate accident, my wife's driver crashed the car, albeit not so badly.
It needs new headlights and a bumper and a grille and some small denting.

I'm keeping my head held high, but I'm very upset about it.

Very Sorry to hear about the accident Sam. Hope nobody got hurt.

When I read " The car is at the Skoda garage", I feared the worst. then was mighty pleased that the trip to the garage is not due to the car but an accident.

Hope the dealer is giving due attention. Do post more pics once she gets done up.

As you rightly said, keep your chin up mate, pray the cheerful season get you through this small mishap

very well written story and a beautiful car. i was looking for reviews for the superb since im looking to buy one. selling my RS.. (i know i know) and i stumbled upon this review.
