Nice review there !!

It is a lovely car and white looks great in the swift. The HU is a good choice.

OT - The pic where you have shown the damping being done. Nice cars in the background.

@ Vk - Thank you.
There are plenty of nice cars parked at the moti bagh petrol pump where Gyro is located.

@ Schoudhury - Paid 8.5k for the HU and 7k for the tyres ,still using the stock rims.

This particular pic doesnt feel like India at all, if it wasn't for that Indigo in the background. Just look at the imports lined up on the other side of the road!

What is that place?

It's good that you got your tyres upgraded so early, I am using Swift from last 1+yr and it's 10500Kms on odo. My stock tyres are not so bad however none of the dealer was ready for a buyback. They said that 1000+ for JK Tornado means this tyre is over now, throw it a get new ones. For tyres its always best to get upgrade ASAP.

Well BK tyres gave me a pretty decent buy back price even though my tyres had run for 1200 kms.

@ Gurudatta - Thanks.
Got the damping done from Gyro ,you can pm M4ugr8 for the exact price.
Paid 600 Rs for the fog lights.

Small update

Got the first service done.
Its time for a road trip now.!

@Faithless congrats
she looks great.
But why did you get Potenza GIII's?
I have them on my Accent, they are pretty grippy, and perform good under hard braking and in wet conditions.

But they are toooooooooooo noisy, these days i can hear them even at 20km\hr

Btw dont get worried for now, they are fairly quiet when new,but start showing their true colors, once you cross 10K mark on them.

Nice work buddy and many congratulations! Good job - have fun. The turbo thingy was a big thing for me too when I moved to the DDiS from my ol' Zen and wow - the car is down to its 3rd service next week and it still feels like I only got it yesterday!

Only -ve's I had about the LDi were the rear seat headrests and the tacho - such a pity its not possible to just upgrade these! Just my 2c - I also upgraded the sunvisor (one with mirror) and the inside rear-view mirror to day-night. Pricey - but at least - the day-night rear-view is a real useful upgrade when driving late on highways.

Your tyres look wow! Did you consider Yokohama at all - I read in a few places that its a good choice for swift upgrade.

Your giving me just the inspiration I need. I'm still running on the crappy stock and looking to move to the Zxi tyres with alloys.

Have some more home work to do with getting final approval from the mistress at home ;-)

Oh - and by the way - nice stereo, yummy. Once again I made the mistake of going for the single-DIN Pioneer and regret it now (just the looks - works super). One advantage of the single DIN is that I use the cavity for saving a few USB sticks, the remote etc. Keeps it out of sight of the 3-yr old monster who ravages everything he can see!

@ Noidaboii - LoL ,white is the new black.
TD on sunday at the record meet/parade.

@ Akshay - Thanks buddy ,iv heard that they are noisy but these were the only one's available at that time (in my budget) ,other option was yoko A drive which I didn't like ,i wanted a nice tread pattern.

@ ddisdude - Thanks for the kind words.
How much did the sun visor and the rear view mirror cost ?

I liked ES 100 but they were not available at BK tyres.

The swift`s dash is kinda dull so this was needed to improve the overall look.
Am not an audiophile so this was more important for me.
