Congratulations.
If its running a bigger turbo, appropriate fuelling and puts out 120bhp plus. Then, I'd call it a monster. My kind of a Swift D.
RipperGeo came close.

Upgrading from an M800, its monstrous enough for me

Yesterday I couldn't help but push it to 110 on delhi-gurgaon expressway, did it thrice but only for a few seconds each time, hope it doesn't ruin the run-in process

Congrats Vikram for the DDiS Swift. It looks the best in white. The snaps however, left us wanting.
PS- I would be taking the same expressway for my new job. See you on the way.
Happy mile crunching with the oil burner

Fine, Mr. Fine.

Nice. Get the wheel rims painted Black/Matt black. Enhances the looks of the wheels. Wheel covers on silver rims make no sense.

I don't know for certain reason I liked it on silver rims
Another problem is that the wheel covers are way too tight and the guy putting them on broke two of them while doing that (obviously I got them changed) but the metal ring is wayyyyy too tight so it kind of scares me that I or the paint guy might break it off while taking them out or putting them back on after painting the rims.

Where they MGA wheel covers? From the looks of it, doesn't seem so. (Finishing seems poor at the contours) And that might be the reason for it being so tight. Other than this, these after market non MGA wheel covers become yellowish after few years of usage. Have seen this in many LDi's/LXi's.

Congrats for the monster. De-Badged rear looks beautiful. Nice that you have already upgraded to Michelins, but IMO, 195mm would have looked much better..just my opinion.

I've thought of replacing these with 195s in a year or two but only when I also go for alloys at the same time. All my money has gone into just getting the car :P (no loan) so can't go overboard all at once.

Yes the finishing is not as good as factory-fitted that come in vxi/vdi but the difference can only be noticed when observing it too closely.
As for these getting yellow I don't plan to keep them on for more than a year or a year and a half and would then move on to alloys.

By the way one of the wheel covers came off today while me and my wife were going to the market. There was a cracker kind of sound that came from the front tyre and I thought it probably was an empty water bottle or something but only when I reached home I realized that the front left tyre's wheel cover was missing.
And went I back to Ahuja's for sun-film and told Gaurav about the same he just had another one put on the tyre real quick, free of course. Also got me a discount of 50 bucks on the film, very helpful guy I must say.
