1.2 H/L costs 6.42 here. So guys 1.6 is just 40k more. Looks like VW is serious... No 1 by 2017.
Thats strange I haven't seen any media release for the same, saw some for Vento though

poloman congratulations for your new polo! It looks awesome in red.

One of my friend bought a red Polo recently. I was delighted to see it in the flesh.

Wish you happy and safe motoring always.

I read it before in T-BHP long back about the expected price of 1.6L, though nothing is announced officially (at least in website it is still not showing) but going by what Dealer@Kolkata said and the below link, hope its true!

THE CAR! Absolutely right. Critics will have to find a place to hide?

Pricing is great - If it is true. I am doubting it, since 1.6 Polo Petrol will not be eligible for excise benefits also??? On road Price may be more??

Wish they launch 1.6 Tdi also.

If the 1.6 Polo pricing news is true, it will be an excellent deal. But all depends on the FE. As my Polo will go to my fiancee, I don't think power will make much difference for her, but mileage will for sure...So its still 1.2 for me..

6.8L on road price for a 1.6 petrol? That is still lesser than the OTR of 1.2 petrol in Bangalore.

. In March, a SP hinted the price to be around 6.5 - 7L ex-showroom. And I feel it can be. She also told me that, 1.6 is available in Highline variant only.

Now you see!! In fact, this 1.2 does not leave you wanting for more, in any way. This is adequate in normal circumstances. Plus, definitely FE will be down by 20%.

5 mtrs of tubing is not required to water a plant which is just 2 mtrs away!

I see lot of red Polos around in Bangalore. Sad to lose the exclusivity enjoyed for quite some time . Hope it won't go the i20 or i10 or Swift way.
Shocked to hear that Petrol prices are deregulated. The people who were waiting for petrol Polo and being offered Diesel polo need not think twice on what to do now.

Poloman that is bound to happen . Every month 40-50 Polos get added in Bangalore. But any news you have on 1.6?

carfanatic, the problem with polo is that almost 90% of the cars delivered are in Red. This will add more to the clutter.

May be because most of the bookings are in TL where the colour options available is either Red or White. Here in Pune also, whatever Polos have seen till date, most of them are Red only. But it looks great in Red colour.
