@vigneshram: Nice to know a TDCi Lxi owner. I saw your thread. Its good as you went for OE Central locking. The Starfish alloys look wonderful.

Will wait for your detailed initial ownership report.

hi tirthankar

can you give me some details about your alloys/tires? like the measurements, etc? also, if you have any photo detailing the entire underbody, can you post it here for me to help understand what part of the car scrapes the humps each time i go on them!?

thanks!

the alloys are by far on the best looking IMO - perfectly complements the Red exterior.

It is somewhere in the middle (picture attached) and nothing serious.

tirthankar, that was informative to me. i do agree its something in that middle that scrapes. it looks to me like that area encompasses the axle? am not so sure though. will have a look in broad daylight again.

FIGOttitude torqued up to Tawang in the month of December 2010.

Attached is a Snapshot from the August 2011 Edition of CAR India Magazine.

FIGOttitude - 2010-11 Report

The one thing I am not happy about is the non-OE Tires as:
  • They make the ride very bumpy.
  • Steering is heavier.
  • Maneuverability (does it increase turning radius?)

Welcoming suggestions from co-members as to what is the best specifications of tires for FIGO, (other than OE)

Sold

The Figo is sold after 3 years of ownership and some 68000 kms on the odo. It gave commendable service apart from AC and radiator fan failure.

A wonderfully engineered car not for bad roads. Nothing comes near when it comes to handling, safety and speedy maneuvers.

I came across your write up 3 years back when I picked up my FIGO in Apr 2010. Now that your RED road runner has been sold, planning any new buy and if yes which one? Take care mate and safe driving as always
