Congrats Karthik. A well maintained car . Since the tyres are worn out go for the new 185 instead of the original 175/60 r14. I can give a few tips on the different service centres here in B'lore and their quality of services. PM me for details.

Enjoy your drive.

Yes..you may have paid around 10-15k more but then you have got a years warranty and most importantly a car that you like and a car that looks fantastic, much better than the stile avatar.

Drive the car sedately in city.Upshift early and use the torque and you will get fuel economy figures of 10-12kmpl.Anything more than that is a bonus. You could let all the horses loose on the highway

How about some interior pics

Thanks shanty. i can easily put put 3-4th gear in small roads and traffic areas, no need of shifting to 1st gear unless the vehicle stops. wonderful torque it has due to bad climate in Bangalore, unable to take good snaps of interior, and i will try to post as soon as possible.

@soccerfan, same here bro, i like the old palios than the palio stile, unique style of tail lights it has. design of palios are getting worse by its generation.

Brings nostalgic memories as I look through those pictures.
Its a very good car and a blast to drive.

Dont bother too much on fuel efficiency, upgrade to a good rubber and your set.

Please suggest some good brand tyres to take advantage of its power and speed. preferably one designed for wet roads. also suggest tyres best in dry roads and summer.

Thanks Raajks and Saurabh M

Congrats Karthik

Welcome to the 1.6 Club. She is a beauty. Take good care of her and she will return it lots of 'pleasure'.

Looks like we have two things in common

Beautiful!!!

Red+Palio+Sport+1.6 ... Enough to take one's breath away. Sometimes I feel like junking the 1.2 for 1.6

Lovely pictures and do keep updating about your ownership experience.

Congraulations Karthik! Reminds me of my own purchase 2 years ago. It was red, a palio but a GTX

What all was done in the servicing? Since the car is fast approaching 60K kms, suggest you to check the timing belt, alternator belt and the clutch plates. And be careful of the 1.6 badge. There are thieves all around.

P.S - Mind if I have steal one of your pics?
