Yes it is the BMW CE but only features missing out are Idrive and sunroof which I dont care about. However no xenons in this version and it really stupid. I even had aftermarket xenons on my toyota.

and not to mention run flats do fine on chandigarh roads and highways, however they smack into potholes very very hard.

I maintain 38 psi in all four tyres.
Congrats on the buy, looks sweet & elegant in white ! The xenons can be upgraded to a Philips H7 HID kit available, cost around 16K, installation extra. I suggest you buy a kit & get a good electrician to install it .

The 3 is the perfect anti depressant, come back home, take it out on empty roads at night for a spin, she will put a smile on your face

Upgrade to normal tubeless tires, you will find the ride much improved. Runflats are way too hard & get damaged easily on Indian roads.

38 PSi is way too high ! Im maintaining 30 front & 36 rear, as per the recommened pressure, though you can reduce it at the rear to improve ride quality.

Could not make out the problem, get the dealer guys to take a look at it.

Enjoy the experience, do keep us posted on your experience as well as your ICE upgrades !

38 psi may be a contributory factor to the dimpled tyres. It is way too high.

As for the ICE you can contact Gunbir or jasdeep at bbw distributors. They have the expertise & the quality for a top end install.

Recently got my W124 & Pajero ICE from them. I can gaurantee you'll be smiling post the install

Enjoy the ride

Cheers

800/(60X4)=3.33 kmpl. Have no experience in this segment but I've got to ask - Is this normal??

Look at the bright side. FE has improved more than 50%.
hahaha... yeah kind of big improvement.

Thank you sir... Do you own a bimmer?? If yes then you can understand my feelings about the car.

Philips H7... Bmw throws error codes on aftermarket HID's. Did you install those? Price is no issue.

Its definitely anti depressant. today I was having mild fever and it was raining in chd. I took her to spin with 'DTC OFF' and bingo... fever went away.

I wasnt getting good price for my runflats, If i had got optimum price for them I would have upgraded to 18" with 225/40-18 in front and 255/35-18. After killing my runflats Im onto 18".

I will try 33 psi around. BTW 30 in front and 38 in rear is recommenced by BMW CHD.

Yes sir this thread will be updated as much as I can. ICE upgrade is on the way.

Congrats on your new ride. Beemer's are always special for selfdriving.
This one can do much more than 184, it is a mere pony for it, it could do more.
Reg the ICE there are plenty of choice out there it all depends on how much you want to invest. You could open a thread in ICE section.

Also, I suggest you check on the tyre pressure, it seems to high to me.
And ya get the xenons fitted by the BMW OE.

Taran, please switch to 30-32 psi all around immediately. I can't imagine how you've been tolerating 38. It's what is recommended by the workshops themselves. The sticker should not be followed.

And congratulations. Crazy car, eh

Congrats on the Beemer. It looks great. Nice pictures as well.

BMW should have included the xenons in the CE, it would have made an already good product, little better.

Hello guys,

Just got the thread reopened. Im enjoying the car very much.

Car has been to workshop for three times.

First for the bad alignment that came from factory. Alignment done under warranty.

Second time for a failed brake sensor, car was kept for 3 days.

Third time was the service. Got the first service done at 8000 kms.
Oil and filter was changed. They also added wind washer fluid costing 250rs.

5.2 liters of 5w30 oil, BMW synthetic made in Germany.
Air filter wasn't cleaned as they say it is replaced not cleaned.
Total cost was 11300. Not bad ehhh.

BMW chd wanted 2000 rs for car wash... I said no.

Rear tyres have almost worn off... would be soon upgrading to 18 inch tyres and keep the original as a spare in trunk.

One rattle appeared in the cockpit area, fixed it myself. factory damping material had displaced. It was below the steering wheel.

Overall everything shuts tight and feels awesome.

Car has been through a few exterior mods. Pics will come soon.

ODO nearing 10,000 mark.
