Congrats BadAxe (specific reasons for choosing that name?, just curious) for the lovely Fiat. The snaps have come out really well and the car has some serious attitude.
Wishing you lots of happy miles with the Linea.

@Utopian: About the name, don't know just popped into my head, glad you like the snaps.

@aks_karthik: Thanks, and good choice of vehicle, I think yours was the first pics I saw on Team-Bhp before buying my car amongst others. Hows your baby doing now.

BadAxe, Thanks for the info. It was indeed useful.

Have escalated the matter to Fiat Service. Hoping it helps in getting those niggling issues resolved permanently.

Great
ya completed almost 23K kms and getting more than 19.6kmpl in highway and 14+ kmpl in city with 100% AC.
had some small niggling issues and addressed by VST motors promptly and now my baby is silky smooth.
got some scratches here and there by uneven roads and by naughty kids.
but due to our choice of color it's not visible evidently.
hope i have to keep this car as long a possible.
Enjoy and Drive Safe

@Autocop: You are most welcome, Best of luck.

@aks_karthik: Great to know, wish the niggling issued did not exist, but I guess they are there with all brands and then you also have the great Indian roadways to deal with

@vikrantj: Killer Machine enjoy it to the max.

Congrats BadAxe. You were already in the club as you bought the car in June 2009. I joined it in October 2009. My 10 month old baby get's all the TLC with very few kms on the odometer (4300).

Thanks RajBajwa, yes a have been in the club for a while now but feel quite elated that I am finally a part of Team-BHP. Congrats to you too, by the way, 4300 KM in 12 months is very little, take that baby out on to the roads more

Wanted to ask three questions:

Firstly this does have a dead pedal right and how spaced are the pedals?

Secondly are DVD playback supported by the blankput player?

Thirdly how effective is automatic climate control for this car.

Fourthly can the front armrest be used by the driver?

If possible can you please post the pictures of the front armrest and the pedal's configuration. I tried to search for a GTO review thread for Linea but all i found was Punto.

BadAxe, You've got beautiful pictures there. If you don't mind, can you please post higher resolution pics? I mean the pictures that you had used to make that collage.

Regards
Amith

Congrats BadAxe & yes the pics are beautiful!

I love the way the Linea looks and were it not for my (some say irrational) dislike of the Fiat and Tata brands, would seriously consider it for my next purchase. My friend has a black Linea diesel and he's praised it enough that I will drive it the next time I get the chance!

Congrats badaxe, Linea is a beautiful car. I had my sights on it for Diwali but got a used Civic instead. But the beautiful lines of the car never cease to amaze me.
That Fiat is dealing with issues promptly is a good sign but its quite sad that these alarms are arising in the first place.

Hey I too have a similar problem in my Civic, I think the beading around the boot must be defective.
Do let me know how TASS resolves this issue.
