There are other things also, but for now these are the things that stood out most.

Your maintenance cost is way too high, for example radiator does not need to be flushed on these Hondas until 1 Lakh KM (or 5 yrs).

Its a Japanese doll, not a German dog.
I think I was referring to the a/c filter; air filter is 500 ish.

Brake pads, possible that they might be tad lower at an fng. But this is at the A.S.S. so naturally labor costs will be inflated.

Radiator flushing and a/c disinfectant are two of the biggest scams that they run so I make sure I don't sign up for it.

Rs. 5,500/year in routine maintenance sounds like a very good deal, no? I don't quite see where you feel the costs are high.

The City has been extremely frugal on the pocket.

Missed adding this:

Insurance was renewed, this time with New India Assurance.

At 7 years, neither zero-dep, nor the Engine Protector add-on was available. The new policy with just an add-on for Towing was taken at Rs. 6300.

Re: My Japanese Doll : Habanero Red Honda City S-MT

The car has been sold off to Cars24 earlier this week since it wasn't used as much. Very bittersweet given the spectacular service it provided over the last decade! My father had every intention of using it till it was legally allowed but usage dropped, since we have another car at their disposal. At the time of sale, it was on original clutch, suspension and brakes, with no immediate/short/medium-term repair/replacement necessary.

Details on the sale:
