Team-Bhp stickers do wonders when you give your car for service too. Please but some Team Bhp stickers asap.

Mr. Javeed - CRM at KHT, knows team bhp very well. Any problems you have, you can contact him directly. Mr. Amit is the owner of KHT.

Congrats Asdon,
I took the delivery of my punto 1.2 emotion on 30 september for my anniversary on october 1st. I took it from prerana, Dairy circle.

When you put the alloys, please update this thread. I'll also put the same set next month..you can even negotiate with this point.

diesel version have more features i believe. Because my 1.2 emotion doesn't have rear AC vents. and no seat height adjuster. diesel active having rear AC vents and Diesel emotion having height adjuster confirms my belief.

As far as the accessories, I got only the sunfilms and the usual mats and mud flaps.

Drive safe.

Hemanth, the 1.2 Emotion does have the rear AC vents. You can find them below the front seats. But these are not that useful as they are mostly used when you switch on the heater.

No Newpunter, it is activated when you turn the direction to 50/50 face/foot, and if you increase the speed, it does have some real cooling at the backside.

@Hemanth - Congrats on your buy too. 1.2 Emotion has more features than 1.3 Active for sure, rare wiper, Music system, ABS, central locking etc..

I will let you know when I am gunning for alloys, this month mostly I will be out of Bangalore, from 7th to 24th, so it will be next month when I go for it.

I have a question for all punto owners, specially Multijet, what was the milage you got before 1st service?

The Milage meter was showing 14.3kmpl, on the 1st day, when I drove about 80 odd kms, from next day onwards its between 15.6 to 17.2 till today, do I need to worry or things are fine?

no need to worry you will get around 14-15 before service in the city.
On highway you will get around 20 kmpl

Congrats asdon and welcome to the Fiat club. 3 pages in 1 day. Punto surely gets a lot of attention on team-BHP. :-)
Wishing you happy ownership journey ahead.
What's your Average speed displayed at the MID?

34, due to lots of construction activity in outer ring road.

Alright. Mine is just 20 :-)
15-17kmpl is good for that average speed during the first few days. FE will improve, NVH will decrease and your GP will be much more eager to sprint after 4-5k on the odo.

Great that you told me, now I will see them, anyways I have not paid anything for the paint. Lets see what they say about it.
Sure, we will meet. And yes, there are rear AC vents on the Active variant. Mine is a 1.2 Active, I checked it, there are rear AC vents and they perform well.

Asdon, congrats! Your Punto looks great!

I am planning to buy Punto Dynamic.

What have you planned for the Alloys? Did you try in hot tracks?

Today I blasted them for charging higher price for the painting job, and they have agreed to do it at 1500/- + Tax, thanks to Team BHP members.

But I am going to Kolkata day after tomorrow, so will do all additional works after I come back which is 25th Oct.

I have not checked for alloys in many shops, will do it after I come back.

Difference between Dynamic and Active is only 4 door/ 2 door power windows. And 99% my back seats will be empty so I went for Active.

No. Dynamic variant is highly under-rated. Not saying dynamic is more VFM but it has the following additional features:

- Dynamic has all four power windows.
- Center console is silver in color.
- Instrument cluster has chrome rings and cosmetic enhancements.
- MID is that of Emotion variant type(bigger) and has more functions. e.g. dual trip meter, speed warning and more.
- Manual Central locking is present.
- It will show specific door open warning for all four doors.
- Auto door lock function is present(not sure).
- Theater dimming lights will work for all four doors.
- Instrument panel light regulation (not used really).
- Fabric insert on door panel.
- Keyless system for Dynamic costs 4k (for Active, it costs 10k). Savings of 6k.

Spend close to Rs1500 and you can get control switches of all four power windows on driver side panel as well.
So you can see that ~Rs30k is not just for power windows.
