Not driven it much, just from the dealer back home and am out for the rest of the month so the initial reviews would have to wait for sometime.

Promise to upload a couple of more pics soon.

Not been able to drive around much and so she has only done around 200 Kms till date.

But these are my initial impressions.
  • Engine is very smooth and pick up is great
  • Gear shifts are very easy but which it was a little more responsive
  • The view from inside the car is great and there are no blind spots while driving, though some people may feel that reversing is a little difficult because of the high design at the rear. I am thinking about getting the reverse sensors installed and am on the look out for a reliable person who could install the same.
  • Contrary to many reports the Air Conditioning seems to be quite good, but of course the temperatures have dropped quite a bit over the last few days and though the afternoons are still really hot, I guess the real test would be in the summers.
  • Rear leg room and seating is comfortable for city rides but the real test would be how it holds up on a long drive (guess this part will have to wait till my next trip to Pune / Banglore )
  • I really did not like the horn and the wheels and plan to get them changed soon.
To sum it up, I am pretty happy with the car and my wife finds it very easy to drive it around the city. Though the effect that the safari has on rickshaw drivers, cyclist and even the city buses is addictive , I think I can get used to driving this, especially on the traffic packed roads of Ahmedabad.

Congrats on your Vista and it looks great in white. Any plan for alloy wheels?

Now a days I see lot of women drivers behind Indica steering wheel.

Thanks, I thought I'd wait and see if i really needed it. All the different RTO rules and the fuss some policemen make about sunfilm put me off for now.
