Excellant choice bnzjon. Linea T-Jet triumps as a driver oriented car when it is between Fiesta 1.6S Vs Linea T-Jet Vs Cedia Sports.

Hi! Just saw this thread! What an emotional writeup and superb pics there!! Congrats buddy.

I have started flying my Jet regularly now. This is the best car I could have bought for 10lacs. Very impressed.

Getting mine tomorrow - Bronzo Scuro. First in Pune I assume. A blind choice but it has turned out great after i saw it arrive at the stock pile.
Had a question for all Tjet owners - is Idling necessary for the Tjet. Am used to it as I had a TDI earlier... but a petrol engine? GTO suggested it, anybody speak to your *** guys? any feedback.

Regarding the turbo, YES, idling is necessary. This is mainly to cool the turbo. By allowing a turbocharged engine to idle, oil continues to pass through the turbo thus cooling it down.

There are 2 others who got delivery of their Bronzo Scuro TJets on 15th (Ranchi) and 19th Feb (Bangalore). I read their reviews in one of the Fiat Forums.

fiat_tarun said it all. So i am not repeating. The manual is silent on the idling but its better to be on the safer side and follow the traditional tried and tested method. No harm.

Bnz.. The manual indeed says that we need to give it some time before switching off after a "taxing" drive. So I guess it is indeed essential to leave it at idle for atleast 20-30 secs.Enjoy your jet.

Once I am back from the US (Mar 20) we will plan for some "long" trip. What say?

Hey those look really nice, they give a very premium feel to the vehicle.

That said, would you mind sharing the cost breakup? What are Lapel pins?

Man, that is really reasonable. One of my relative had inquired about the same for the Cruze and they quoted around 7.5k!

I dont work for FIAT but i go to work in a FIAT

I really liked those lapel pins. When it was offered for free, i grabbed it.
(btw, cost of a pair is rs. 260)

Nice sill plates there! I presume they are screwed in? And also just out of curiosity, are they hooked up to the door-open lamp switch? Or with the headlamp switch? The questions may sound naive but its the first time I'm paying attention to the illuminated plates. Look really great...
