Superb pictures. Thanks for sharing the same.

Getting to see both the cats is very rare and glad you had this luck. Did you get see any wild dogs, the other predator in these forests.

Cheers

Wow, some really hot stuff. 500mm seriously rocks. Loved the photographs, very well captured and it was a pleasure to watch. Please do post more photographs.

BTW, about the Kabini shots, are these shots taken near the dam or inside the NP?

Just brilliant pics. The output is just amazing, especially the depth of the photographs. Gear only does half the job, the other half is the man behind the camera. And indeed brilliant spotting of wildlife, from birds to mammals.
Were you using a tripod, considering that gear and such brilliant pics?

Thanks a lot. All the shots are handheld/bean bag. Its practically impossible to use a tripod in the safari vehicles.

Amazing pictures. I guess handling the 500 prime beast isnt easy on Safaris and you have done an excellent job. Awaiting more photos from you.

Excellent work. I know the equipment is important but its another dumb machine. Its the eye behind it that has to see the picture, decide the right frame, instruct the exposure to the camera and press the button at the right time. So brother the credit goes to you at 80:20.well done

Re: Bandipur & Kabini over weekends : Photologue

WOW , brilliant snaps Robi .
Specially the closeup snap of eagle and the elephant facing the camera, simply too good.

Seeing all these snaps you feel like getting a good SLR and just go out for a trip to shoot.

Cheers.
