Re: Self-Drive Expedition Travel-Ladakh and cold desert Changthang in "off-season" Oc

This is fabulous! As if the original TL wasn't enough to fuel our desires, and now this.
Please do share the trek plan, costs and logistics involved.

It is the half Chadar that I did. It was for 6 days, till around Nerak and then back to Leh. would be writing about this more after last batch of winter Leh pics. The full one is till Padum and back and do hope to go for that. This one just happened suddenly as could take out a week off.

Glorious pics, adc, and the teaser of what looks like another intrepid journey. You excel yourself each time! This is one of those rare, rare trips of yours where the family is missing, though! Looking forward to the rest of the pics.

I am sure this trip merits a separate thread, not clubbed into your Ladakh & Changthang driving thread.

adc -- I came across your wonderful travelogues today while searching for Ladakh-related travel stories on TBHP. I was totally bowled over by your writing and even more so by your fabulous photographs.

I'm planning to drive (from Jamshedpur) to Ladakh in May 2013 in my XUV500 and that is why I was searching for Ladakh travelogues. Your detailed descriptions are very educative for me, especially as I would be going to Ladakh for the very first time.
