Nice write-up and pictures Lukeskywalker. Congrats on the little one's first successful travel as well!

Sometimes, I think I should have been in Bangalore coz it's just closer to the Western Ghats and one can have a quick weekend get away so easily! Sadly it's not that easy for Chennai folks!

Hari this is a very nice travelogue. I am yet to stay at any homestay or a place of this kind. Looks tempting. I did my first long trip when my son was six months old and it was a 36 hour train journey to Kerala. As a toddler he never gave us a problem while travelling. I think you will have great company as your little one grows up. Don't give up these little pleasure trips. I am sure your little one will enjoy it as much as you do.
