4190 Km Trip to South - 23rd July to 2 August 2011
On 23rd July 2011, we (Self, Wife & Kid) drove down south from Navi Mumbai to Bangalore..Started at 5.30 hours
Drizzle till Satara & then it was dry..
Nippani welcomed with heavy downpour and rains reduced our pace at 70KMPH till Davangere..
Stretch from Haveri to Davangere in NH 4 is incomplete with diversions & 1 overbridge underconstruction..
Cross Davangere & the Golden Quadrilateral is back
Had a break at Tumkur-Kamat Upachar and Tumkur to Bangalore 4 way is complete till ORR(Outer Ring Road) Junction & thus reached B'lore at 19.30
Overnight stay at Ramamurthy Nagar.. Started our Journey at 7am to Vellore on 24 July 2011, had a 45 min break after Hosur (A2B-BPCL)

Reached Vellore at 10.30am.. Started from Vellore to Chennai at 19.00 hours and reach chennai at 21.30 hours..on 24th Jul 11 |
