Trip to Malshej-Karjat- A pictorial

Monsoons in western Ghats are magical. Last year I did a drive from Hyderabad to Konkan coast Via Pune, Mahabaleshwar. Driving around the ghats in pouring rain, zero visibility, lush green views, waterfalls, cascades is a mesmerizing experience. Ever since that trip, I always wanted to experience the beauty of Monsoon again. A family rip to Mumbai was just the opportunity I needed.

These pics are from a recent trip in Aug 2011 to Mumbai, Malshej Ghats and Karjat. I will let the pics do the talking.
