I am posting pictures of the fog enroute, which I could search out now. The area was Vattayr.

Fogs apart, let me start from where I left in the previous post.
I strolled through the narrow trail in front of the temple with the mind walking down memory lane.
In the side of the temple saw rock with a formation resembling Lord Ganapathy. Then this small rock was embedded on the sloping terrain but now that rock is kept on a pedestal and covered by rock masonry. The ganapathy was a natural formation and not any kind of engraving or sculpturing and hence need to focus so closely to see this natural formation.
During the 41 day Sabarimala season there were chirapps or celebrations conducted by individuals along with the evening pooja and me and my friends were regular attendees on a daily basis, only with the sole aim of getting the prasadam.

We paid a visit to the house were we lived and it was a one of a kind experience.

This was a quarters of PWD and came to know that presently is maintained as an accommodation for officially visiting officers. The only change I noticed was that there is a new compound wall and a bigger gate. A garden was maintained in the front and on the sides cabbage, tomatoes and peas were grown when we were living there.
From that house we could get an excellent view of the town which has now grown manifolds. From the veranda of the house we used to spot our father when he goes for shopping with a binocular.

There I remembered about one man who was a great help in those days to many residents there like going to market and used to do errands. I could locate the house where his family presently lives. It was sad to know that he died about four years ago. His elder son is a taxi driver now.

I am attaching some views from around Munnar. There is a retail outlet at the KDHP House where tea and spices are available.
Pictures 5 and 6 are from the hotel where we had dinner, the Pookkalam was because of the Onam festivities to greet the King Mahabali.

The second day was spent till evening with a quick run to Mattuppatty and Kandla. being the festive season there were heavy rush in these places and the rains were heavy in sporadic spells.

Started our decent back from the bewitching place of three rivers around three in the afternoon and had an uneventful drive back except that an M800 lightly kissed the Innova's rear bumper leaving a scratch mark.
The last picture is of the area where there was heavy fog during our drive up.

I earlier spotted and marked in a red circle the house where i lived long long back and in the second picture I have marked the crossing point which we friends used as a short cut then to the Town from the house especially during the mid summer vacation time.
