This Travelogue dates back to February 2011 when I was in Munich, Germany on official tour.

On Sunday I decided to explore Olympia Park (1972 Summer Olympic Games) & BMW Welt.

I will cover BMW Welt in this Travelogue or rather Photologue.

BMW Welt - is a multi-functional customer experience and exhibition facility of the BMW AG located in Munich, Germany. It is location across to BMW Headquaters & the Olympiapark. It is designed to present the current products of BMW, be a distribution center for BMW cars, and offer an event forum and a conference center.

BWM Museum is also located just across the road, but I believe someone has already written a Travelogue on the same here in Team-BHP.

I will let the pictures do the talking, as when it comes to BMW, the less I speak, better it is.

The most wonderful part of being in Munich, Germany is that local trains (U-Bahn & S-Bahn) take you almost everywhere in City & you just don't need taxi, also you need not ask anyone. Route maps are self-explanatory.

Munich Transport & Tariff Association (Münchner Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund) has a website (Münchner Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund) & we can easily know train timings, tickets & schedules online.

There are total of 15 U-Bahn & S-Bahn Train lines running across the City. Infact even the Airport (which is 30+ kms outside city) is connected by local Trains.

The above photos of Trains & Stations are taken at 9:30 am on working day. People from Mumbai who are travelling by local trains would definitely be jealous by seeing above pictures.

BMW Museum is closed on sunday & unfortunately, I went there in a Sunday . So I missed seeing it.

Actually you can spend almost entire day as all there places: BMW Welt, BMW Museum & Olympia Park are in close vicinity.
