Re: A Ferrari Weekend

Hi Rishad,

I must say this. What a damn good write-up this has been. After seeing the pictures, all that comes to my mind is -

1. How can the scenery be so perfect?
2. How can anybody have such a perfect job? I mean, you get to see the places and you even get to drive some awesome cars!! All this part of your job?

Can you take me as your assistant or something?

Regards,
Anant

Re: A Ferrari Weekend

Now, that' what I call, living. Rishad, what a great experience it must have been. A great car on fantastic roads and locales. The photographs are simply superb.

A Ferrari is a Ferrari is a Ferrari. Would I want to own one, no. But if I can drive one every day without having to own one, that would be just perfect.

Cheers.

Rishad, you are one lucky so and so. Motoring journalism is a dream job to have, to me.

Thanks for sharing and keep doing so. You are guaranteed to get me as a reader...

I must also commend Hot Tea across India. A most enjoyable book indeed.

Cheers mate!

Re: A Ferrari Weekend

Rishad Saam Mehta, I've admired your work and you for a long time. I first read one of your articles from an Overdrive issue about 13 years ago. Thanks for the lovely travelogue and pictures.

Re: A Ferrari Weekend

Superb pictures and crisp, racy narrative, Rishad! Welcome to Team-BHP and looking forward to many such exciting drive-a-logues from you.

I am one of the (few?) people who actually prefers the California's softer looks to the mean, aggressive "regular" Ferraris, so really enjoyed this. And guess what my desktop background is already

Re: A Ferrari Weekend

If there is an ideal travelogue, this is it. Brilliant pictures, exotic locations, a Ferrari and excellent narration! Thanks for sharing this Rishadm!

I was just lucky enough to drive some of the normal street cars through Europe and especially on the Autobahn, and have seen Ferraris and Lambos blazing past while I hold the steering of a 7 seater with sweating hands at speeds like 180kmph!

Re: A Ferrari Weekend

Is that speedo showing 250 kmph as in 2-5-0? . One of the few occasions where more smileys need to be allowed by team-bhp!

I am speechless at the pic.
